Ah this comment makes me so happy! I was a little cautious at first with adding gingerbread pieces because I feel like it could look tacky if there are too many variations - but I found my pastel color scheme and all bets were off 😝.

I know most people like the yellow foam but I really like the way this white foam looks.
I will definitely buy that brand of foam.
I’ve used both and I even use to paint my foam tan but I realized painting is unnecessary. Lol I feel like I have these down to a science now. 😂

What tip did you use for your cupcakes?
Thanks for checking out my video - it says #3M on the packaging. These are generally the largest ones I can find at my local store.
I have been very hesitant to use real sprinkles but the price of clay sprinkles on Etsy and even Amazon can be very expensive.
Hi Ashley - thanks for checking out my video. 😊. I’ve made clay sprinkles before and honestly the time it took was not worth it at all. I’ve always used real sprinkles and I have some fake cupcakes I made from 14 years ago (no joke!) - the sprinkles are still intact, just a little faded. (It makes me worried about what is in the food we eat if they don’t degrade). If you use real sprinkles I would just store in a Tupperware container (that’s what I do). I also have some viewers who also use small beads that you use to make necklaces.
I did the same, but my cakes turned out really bad, because the spackling mixture was watery when I put the paint on it and I didn't like how they turned out 😅
Mara - oh no I wonder what went wrong. I’ve had a few people say their spackling didn’t dry. I live in a really dry area -so I wonder if people who live in humid areas are having this problem.
Make sure its lightweight spackle. I tried different methods and lightweight was the only one that worked for me. Good Luck
