  • The National Cotton Germplasm Collection is maintained at the USDA-ARS Crop Germplasm Research facility in College Station, Texas. Tour facilities holding some of the diverse wild and cultivated cotton germplasm in this collection. Plant geneticist, Dr. Jim Frelichowski, describes the process of growing cotton for seed increases and for plant characterization/evaluation.
