Thanks for the review. I have the second generation of these, like them so far. Three tips: 1. make sure you choose the right kind of tip depending on what you want to use them for, 2. fully charge them before using and 3. if you don't like the cables behind your head you can wear them in front.

Two comments beyond Nice Video!!
1. So far my GS 2.0's haven't suppressed sound as much as I'd hoped but...I think it's my fault. I tried the small black foam tips (BFT) and they didn't work well at all. I tried the long BFTs and same. But, with the second largest tips and following the guidance of folks like this, I think they might just work. I wasn't squishing the BFTs and getting them *into* my ear. Around the house, these BFTs seem to be working much better. To the range I'll go!!
2. There are electronic assemblies on the left and right side of the connecting cable, and per Axil, they are electrically separate. To power down the headset, you have to turn off *both* sides. The switch on the Hearing Enhancement side only powers on/off the Enhancement. The Bluetooth on/off switch only does the Bluetooth. Turn them BOTH off before you put them away. Thanks, Axil, for having rechargeable batteries in these so I can recharge after leaving the power on for a few days in the little cloth bag!! :-)
Thanks for the info, Mike. I’ve never used the bluetooth function myself because I don’t use these to do anything but shooting and hunting. I never noticed the function/power source being separate as far as turning them on and off, but now I’ll need to check that out. Seems like the batteries aren’t being drained by that much, but if I can extend that by operating the unit correctly it would make them more efficient. I use the biggest foam tips on mine and I push them into my ear pretty far to seal the opening. I also fumbled around for a few minutes with the way the wire wraps around over the top of your ear to help the buds stay on and in place. But that is a great feature. Watched two videos where one guy said they went through the washer & dryer (forgot they were in his pocket) and still worked. The other guy left (forgot) them on the bed of his truck for about a week it rained a few days and he was throwing stuff in and out (beat them up) they still worked though. I’m waiting on mine getting here think it’s pony express delivery 😂😎🇨🇦

Nice review. I’m looking for something to replace my walker razor slims because i cant tell the direction of sounds very well and the wind is amplified. Are you able to tell the direction of sounds well and do they cut out the wind? Thanks
I wouldn't say they cut out the wind. If it's super windy it can overpower other sounds. I'd like to find some that have a range that cuts the wind out myself.
Do you ever wear these in the field? I am worried about the wires getting caught on brush and getting ripped out of my ears. I live in PA and hunt in the thick stuff.
Steve (the guy in the video) wears them afield all the time, including the woods. They have a fairly rigid "wire" that wraps around the ear and hold them pretty secure.
I haven’t had any issues with them being pulled off yet. They have a cinch knot on the wire as well that pulls the wire close to the back of your neck or head too. I’ve been wearing the same pair for three years now and still no issues.
hi i want to buy a axil earbud from Turkey but i confused , is the axil gs extreme that none bluetooth model and bluetooth model have same microphone for outcoming sounds . i don't listen too much music . if they have sound quality for outstanding sounds i want to buy none bluetooth version.
I don’t know anything about the other model, but the GS Extreme do have the bluetooth feature. I rarely use the option.
I don't recommend. Not a good protection.
