Got one for my wife since a pc was too intimidating and she was used to a switch. She loves it so far. I haven't tried starfield on it yet, but if when I do, I am definitely using these settings lol
How does starfield hold on these days on the Rog? Iv been playing starfield on the cloud on gamepass but want to get full game for easy modding and console commands
Cap your w at 30. The boosts are useless and random and raise the heat from 70% to 90-94%. While this itself isn’t a issue for the cpu that can handle the temps. The ssd and sd card reader over heat. This is especially true if you upgraded to a 2tb ssd.
That's a decent point, I'll have to run some tests to see what temps the other components are reaching.
I got 95C trying to use turbo mode plugged in. Absolutely not worth doing in my opinion. It almost runs as well at 16-18W and the temps are around 60-80C.

I'd also recommend turning off film grain. It makes the game look really fuzzy
I turn film grain off on every game, I don't understand why its a thing it just looks ugly all the time.

Doesn’t work. Game crashes when I hit 95 Celsius and frame rate is 12-22. Game isn’t playable. Same settings as displayed.
Try this instead:
1. Go to your command center to set to 720P
2. Make sure your settings for your GPU are set at 8G

Hey Tyler! I can understand your fear, Z1 Xtreme is designed to go up to 95 degrees, from there it'll throttle.
Starfield is unfortunately a CPU hog, unlike most other games where its GPU reliant. An Update also has been pushed a few days ago to help alleviate some of these issues.
