I think much better is sacrifice one balor ring for mortis ring, put attack speed x10 there, becouse its enough for 4,5 and you have one extra item for 10 gems.
Become lvl 13, do the green quest in kingshill, then you go to upgrade from green to blue. You have to upgrade 10 times the green ones to be able to make upgrades from blue to pink and so on. You first do the quest then you find details in Quests (Q) then up -Achievments-》crafting -》Equipment. To make upgrades you need Glyph of power, you obtain those from melting dropped items (you can only melt green, blue, pink, yellow and set items), you can't melt normal items without any color.
I think you should get keylin lefrais cape and transfer all your crit and gems to that cape and make your helmet only dmg
