Hope you enjoy a wee nosey into what we had for dinners the past week and hope it might give you some dinner inspo! We are a family of 4 and I batch cook a lot of dinners like bolognese and chillies and vegetable sauces for pasta, fish pie and soups for my children so I don’t always show what they have so if it’s not the same as us then it will be something from the batch cook.

About me:
I’m lesleyanne (Lellyanne) and I live just outside Glasgow with my husband, my two year old daughter and baby boy. We got married in 2017 had our first baby in November 2018 and our baby boy in January 2021. I am currently on maternity leave and thought I would create some videos whenever I get some spare time. Fab meals Lellyanne, If you like chicken and chorizo, try a Jambalaya, only real difference is a bit more heat (which you don't have to add) and you put your uncooked rice into the pot with the ingredients, very tasty. Your Irn Bru ham looked brilliant, I'll need to try it. Leftover ham is lovely done in a pasta bake or even a quiche, just a thought. Loved your meals this week, thanks for sharing xx
The ham in the slow cooker with any kind of fizzy juice is delish Lellyanne, have you tried it with Coke (not diet) as that's lovely too? Also if after you've cooked a ham in your slow cooker with just in a little water, slice it up and fry it for a few minutes with some Golden Syrup then pour the left over syrup over some chips or your rice that you like........love it Love it LOVE IT...........I know it's not extremely healthy, but if you only have it once in a blue moon........well!

I've had coca cola ham but never thought of making it with irn bru - that's now on my list for next week lol. I never thought of making my own special fried rice either so I'll give that a try some time. Thanks for the ideas x
