My blueberries are in pots and are doing well. I used a mix of top soil, peat moss, mini pine bark & a bag of cactus mix for acid loving plants. I also sprinkle used coffee grounds in the pots periodically. I find the blueberries like soil similar to citrus. A layer of compost once a year is also good. Since yours are in ground, I think if you periodically threw some combination of this mix around your blueberries, it would help to keep the soil acidic.

Thanks for the info. I was thinking about spreading some peat moss out there and it would it would help with the clay too.
