- The start of the pandemic changed everything for me, and then my worst nightmare came true - the minivan got totaled. For those who’ve been following, here’s the grand finale of the #minivanlife experiment.

I feel what you’re saying. I lived in Myrtle Beach, a block from beach for 9yrs, before pandemic. I lost my job than my apartment. I used my savings & first stimulus & ended up 100 miles inland from the beach. No job, no pool but some gigantic 🕷️. Money ran out quick & I was tossed out the moment I didn’t have next months rent. I was looking at sleeping in my car in September. I went to nearest town with my hand out & with some fight became a charity case. I developed anxiety & insomnia through it all. It feels like the end of the road here. The town that time forgot. My goal is to someday somehow escape from here. I wish you well.
Aww 🥺 I hope you found another van. I had a van that was totaled but we repaired it and kept it. It was just old and the cost of repairs was more that it was valued at. We still have it actually. It's a 2005 dodge caravan. We have a dodge grand caravan that we love and it's our favorite because of the stow and go seats, dual caliper brakes, dvd player and rear a/c.
I've wondered how you were, many times during the first couple years of the "dark times". I'm glad you are well. So sorry about your van, but congrats on the new housecar! It's always a good time when you upload. Stay well! 🤍🤍🌞🤍🤍
