God, I remember the day this came out after the Wii Safety Video easter egg teaser. I literally called my friends on the phone and made them watch it, I was losing my entire shit.
It was actually my fascination with Telltale's old library that got me to watch Homestar Runner and boy do I wish I knew about this back when flash was all the rage.
Back in my day, if you lost your console, your games were gone! Now these dang old kids buy the game once and have it forever! They don't understand the struggle we went through to experience lifting up a box and finding nothing
Ironically, this is uploaded after this game became no longer available to a Wiiware near Meware. Er, Youware. Not unless you have 1000 Wii Shop Points left to spend.
We need Skunkape Games to pull it out of the Telltale Archives for Modern Computers, I would be willing to buy it again for updated graphics and bug and Audio Glitch fixes. I know that the Sam & Max Games got that "Dialogue tree that removed the funny jokes" but hopefully that the Strong Bad Episodes would keep theirs "even if they need Matt & Missy to come back to rerecord lines for the game to please the woke and cringe crowd to remove the funny jokes.
@@manoftruth0935 1. Anyone who says anything like that is not to be taken with a modicum of seriousness. 2. Disk 4 of 12. 3. Even ignoring your idiotic opening remark that utterly removes any sense from you at all, since when have you thin skinned reds been offended by fucking Homestar Runner? .... Marzipan and Strong Sad intimidate you?
Honestly, I don't think that this game really warrants much remastering, at least in the visual department, considering they pretty much already nailed the look of Homestar in 3D.

What's funny is that TTG *did* use strongbad's concept for the final battle in episode 5
I thought that was because he threatened to beat up someone?

God, I think I remember seeing this trailer on the Nintendo Channel... Back when that was a thing.
Same here, heck it was first introduction to the world of homestar runner

This was absolutely mind blowing the first time I saw it
The 3D models or the smooth flash animation?
@@robbiewalker2831 Yes
I like how when he is showing the 3d it feels kinda like a vlog
The frame rate in this ad still looks incredible.
THE DRAWING OF SAM AND MAX IS MAKING ME JUMP UP AND DOWN

You could just homebrew your wii and pirate the WADS online
You can buy it on PC.

1:04 homestars little smile made my day
I remember the leadup like it was yesterday, including the little interactive gamething.
2d strong bad at 24fps is cursed
Is that really just 24? Damn, I could have sworn that was 60 or something.
It just feels so wrong, im used to the laggy flash framerate.
@@Moli2222 it's not even cause it's laggy, the brothers Chaps just always animated the cartoons at 12 fps
@@Bann i just did not know how to describe the framerate

the 2d animation is really uncomfortably smooth...

Homestar Runner is absolutely funny!
Those are the best graphics ever made!

HOLY CRAP
I wish I could have played this game, the Wii shop channel shut down years ago and the game was just recently delisted from steam a couple months ago
I'm glad this is on steam and all, but I want this redone for modern systems. Sam And Max can get it, why not Strong Bad?
PC and cancel culture.
Now is not the best time to bring the Homestar Runner world back into the limelight.
