There are constants, of course: The Cheat and the Poopsmith are unchanging and eternal.... The only real question mark is Pom Pom: I feel like he got a lot of exposure in the flash days, and now the Brothers Chaps can't quite figure out what to do with him: The last time I recall him being featured prominently in a toon was the Halloween special where he was murdered (and somehow resurrected) from several years ago.

They still managed to use that handicap to expand on his character, though. If you check the toons from the mid-2000's onward, Pom Pom's usually portrayed as too cool or too tired of everyone's shenanigans to get directly involved with the plot.
