Thank you! This was end of July... as far as I know, the weather in Norway get much colder in September, around 5C.

890R VS your 1290SAR as an overall package?
In my opinion, I would chose the 1290 SAR as an overall package. it has that "fun factor" that the 890R does not have and at the same time is extremely off-road capable... Both motorcycles are impressive but for me the 1290 is more enjoyable.
That´s the answer I needed from somone who has been in the saddle of both ;) Next up for my SAR full titanium exhaust (mainly for slight weight savings) and suspension tweeks, stiffer spring to begin with.@@df1190
