I think it's funny reading some of these comments where Australians are trying to talk shit on us Americans when the aussies haven't produce anything of their own in the automotive world, all their so called burn out cars are American made or English made
so less entertaining, i agree. haha but seriously. that's a part of the skill factor if you can control a 1000hp car with wheels spinning at 200kph+ (125mph) and the rear acting as if it were on ice you'll get higher points, resulting in an increased likelihood of winning, you see?
Local as in 1.5 hours away, yes. The event started as "Dyno for Dex" which was a get-together to honor Dex Brown who lost his life in a car accident at a young age. His dream was to have a "national" event in Tulsa. Last year the NHRDA coupled with the D4D (dyno for dex) team to combine the two events and make a great event for all. D4D started as a dyno only at a shop in Tulsa. Last year, in it's fourth season, it was converted into a large event and is now an NHRDA sanctioned race.
my question is : what the hell do decibels (sound) have to do with a burnout contest? I thought it had to with amount of smoke within a certain time limit. stupid concept to ruling the winner.
Sponsored by Goodyear Tire! LOL. I"d like to interview that girl to find out how she got so interested in doing burnout contests. I give her credit for mixing a little estrogen in a testosterone sport! LOL
Jason. I'm sorry, but I think you went through the woods, came out the other side and didn't see the trees. I have nothing against a female participating in any kind of motor sports. I am all for any girl or women wanting to get her hands dirty turning wrenches. What I'm saying, is that motor sports is a predominant male activity. If a man wants to design and sew woman's dresses, fine. So, no, I am NOT sexist. I noticed after I posted my sexist comment, that rekjavicxxx said the girls dad was competing too. Hey...GREAT! If that young lady enjoys the same activities as her dad, I find that awesome. All the power to them! Thanks.
im thinking it was just the loudest truck, there was like 47 people in that one grand stand...but what really shocks me is that it was not in australia
People are entertained by the dumbest s**t. Its one thing to see a car doing a burnout on its own power. But front braking on wet pavement?? I can do that all day on a golf cart.
If you watch this video closely you will see the guy spraying the tires isn't concistant with the water flow. He starts and stops on other drivers but is always spraying on the red truck.
Wow. You Americans need water to spin your wheels, what's the point of doing a burnout. Should tell the guy with the hose to go away. You wouldn't get that in Australia.
If the contest is judged on how loud the crowd is of course a 16 year old girl in a Kenworth truck is going to win because nobody expects it. Congrats to her though most guys probably couldn't even figure out how to drive a truck that big let alone do a nasty burnout in it.
I've learnt that burnout comps in America don't compare to burnout comps in Australia
its a different thing there, get it?
trillriff-axegrinder they are. No brake tapping or anything like that. And lots of fire.
CqSXxNinja why because we don't hit the walls
tim Forbrook no because it's a stand still, where is the tip in where is the skill in it?
CqSXxNinja of all the cars shown in this video how many had blowers or super chargers ? none 0
This girl came to my home state (Colorado) and she kicked butt here. Her anf her dad were in the finals and it came between the too and she won
is it just me or did the second car sound more like a semi than the actual semi
Ikr
its a 6bt cummins swap
it sounded like a engen you use in tractor pulls
definitely a 12 valve Cummins
No it's not u my dad drives semis I've driven with him but when it made the ddddddddd sound that's the sound when u use the Brakes or air brakes
Wow, someone taught her how to stand on the gas with the line lockers engaged. So impressive.
shut the fuck up, your Michael ass can’t even press the gas pedal on a 2005 Toyota Camry
Yeah bro didint even move 😂😂
Two things: That diesel Buick is NUTS! And the blond chick with the clipboard... Curves!
Craigslist like new
Wow - this is all it takes to win a burnout comp in America? ANY 16 year old with a Commodore in Australia could beat any of these
Hi from N.Z.,yea,all stationary,no tip in,doughies etc.
and no one in AMERICA gives a shit!!
coz your embarrassed in the burnout world
mav vlt yep and the super chargers and blowers cause your shit cant do it with out it
I think it's funny reading some of these comments where Australians are trying to talk shit on us Americans when the aussies haven't produce anything of their own in the automotive world, all their so called burn out cars are American made or English made
who judges burnouts by dbs?
+fIyingpeacock Oh ok thats makes more sence. thanx.
It's setup to human dB.
so thats it, throttle and brake at the same time? aussies do it better... search summernats burnout masters
If your hiting the brakes it's cheating the way I see it
thats more like a rolling burnout
so, a proper burnout...
Rahnos 18 least we don't hit the walls
so less entertaining, i agree. haha
but seriously. that's a part of the skill factor if you can control a 1000hp car with wheels spinning at 200kph+ (125mph) and the rear acting as if it were on ice you'll get higher points, resulting in an increased likelihood of winning, you see?
Nah I'm a pro! LOL, Awesome!!
Funny seeing you here.
This ain't mud, its burnouts. Go back to the muddling part of UA-cam
(Sarcasm)
Show them how to do a real burnout get the renegade!
Man I hate cabovers
That 'ole " 52 " Sure got the Coal Roll'n ! ATB Terry God Bless
Hahaha....yup, it sure did!
I like that car with that Cummins diesel engine in it what is kicking some ass
Yeah, that Riviera turns some heads!
yes it was awesome sounding, sounded like a semi
I want me one
That’s a nice cab over KW and a badass burnout to start off a video
thats awesome how you guys judge the winners
I honestly think the last dude won. just as much smoke as the big rig and started quicker too.
Yeah, I agree....but the whole comp is subjective, so what can ya do...
yea the last one was way better
He knew it himself, gota be in a semi to do a burnout, and be a girl haha!
You have any idea how hard it is to do a burnout in a semi?
It appeared to me they were doing it by decibel noise level. And the girls rig was defiantly louder.
It was a great event. Hopefully it will grow and next year will bring in even more nationally known diesel racers.
Jory Blagden Agreed man! The season dates are already set. Are you local to Tulsa?
Local as in 1.5 hours away, yes. The event started as "Dyno for Dex" which was a get-together to honor Dex Brown who lost his life in a car accident at a young age. His dream was to have a "national" event in Tulsa. Last year the NHRDA coupled with the D4D (dyno for dex) team to combine the two events and make a great event for all. wow, a desiel powered boat tail buick, thats different
this is going to make Al Gore happy
John Smith
but AL gore needs the carbon tax money for his 40 gallons to the mile yacht
John Smith moron
my question is : what the hell do decibels (sound) have to do with a burnout contest? I thought it had to with amount of smoke within a certain time limit. stupid concept to ruling the winner.
It's how loud the crowd is after
edward tye yea. It’s pretty pathetic. It should be based off who did the best burnout, hence a burnout contest.
1.Smoke
2.Acceleration control
3. How much of the pad u utilise
That's how a real burnout comp is judged
Instead of saying hold my beer that little girl said hold my kool-aid.
Murica! Fuck Yeah!
Dam rite Detroit diesel baby!! screamin demons 4ever!
Sounds really quiet
I want that Kenworth. It's (obvious to some) a model no longer made but well desired to collectors such as I.
Start the countdown!
I'm Aussie and do burnout comps. And no we don't all use pro comp or pro street cars check out some of the kandos car show cars or northern nats
The cars have a device call roll stops, its an electrically controlled device that applies the front brakes.
That last guy blew a cloud bigger than all the other contestants combined and he lost? What?
Why cant all chicks that age be like that pretty and can roast tires
The girl kicked your ass, She rocks!!!
I used to do this a long time ago but my car was moving. I wonder what happens to the rear brakes?
She won kbpi car show burn out contest three years in a row!!!
you go.girl !!! McAlester, Ok.
Static burnouts! Is it still 1950?
Sponsored by Goodyear Tire! LOL. I"d like to interview that girl to find out how she got so interested in doing burnout contests. I give her credit for mixing a little estrogen in a testosterone sport! LOL
Her dad is the black semi at the start of the video, so I'm sure that had a lot to do with it...
+rekjavicxxx how do you know lol?
Because I was there
um its motorsports not estrogen sports or testosterone sports, shame on you sexist.
Jason. I'm sorry, but I think you went through the woods, came out the other side and didn't see the trees. I have nothing against a female participating in any kind of motor sports. I am all for any girl or women wanting to get her hands dirty turning wrenches. What I'm saying, is that motor sports is a predominant male activity. mosquitos be gon. 😂😂😂
The first truck to attempt, what Yr/mk/mod was it? looked similar to peterbilt 334 Coe 1970s
crazy burnouts
good job, I can't wait to be 16
...and the crowd goes wild...........yay.
You guys need to come to Australia and learn how to do a burnout because sitting on the brakes with foot flat on the accelerator is not a burnout
1:15 looks like a wrestler entrance
I loved the look of that old KW.
Ever one in this comment section is salty as fuck....
I SEE YOU Trolls....dime a dozen nowadays
last burnout made just as much smoke as the semi if not more. he won
They are judging on the decibel level of the small crowds reaction, not the amount of smoke produced.
If the scores are based on noise,Imma gonna enter this competition in an Aeroplane.
it's the noise of the crowd. screams and applause
+Infinite don't worry then, I'll invite a few of my friends and cosuins with loudspeakers,it shall work fine even then.
+JoshHammer I don't think you understand
Sarcasm dude chill
11/10 we will get fresh air
she was only trying to park the car,..
Cool vid. but how is the contest judged, how to you win?
Audience applause volume via decibel meter
im thinking it was just the loudest truck, there was like 47 people in that one grand stand...but what really shocks me is that it was not in australia
true
Loudest audience applause via decibel meter
Dang who is that girl taking notes there I so recognize her from somewhere else on Internet?
yep we aussies do know how to put a show on a skid pan haha or even the streets
Johno Johno snitch
I know that its because the tires shouldnt burn up but pooring water on them loosens the friction
decibel levels man!!
I've seen this girl and the Mack at Bandimere
What if you blow the tires?
OK, they sat still and pressed the gas...I don't get it. Watch some Aussie Burn out competitions.
ashcan1979 this is the gayest skids ive ever seen 😂😂😂. Aussie aussie aussie oi oi oi we smash those Americans at skids!😂😉😉😉
my homie scooters life at 2:29
what kind of truck was the first one
nice burn outs . I did that with 59 chev pickup . I there about 5 mins
And the point of this is ............?
Robert Shaffer To have a good time
Free Robinson to make money
+Owen Dodman waste*
Robert Shaffer it's fun dummy
My thought exactly. How do they award points? Is it by the decrease in the diameter of the tires?
I saw the ram and said oh shit we going to break a drive line lol
yea and if a ford was on there the engine would fail in 2 seconds
+Malone/Gaming and videos no chill
YEP
lol I was thinking the same thing either a driveshaft or hole in the block
That was later models. That model was good. lol.
Prompt what model to take diesel dvigatel for this?
🤣🤣🤣 What's with the bloke with the hose?
where do they come up w these score numbers
lucky for me I live in Tulsa But I didn't get to see it
Somebody needs 2 call the fire dept!
can someone tell me how they judge with the points????
Decibel meter for the applause
Yeah, the huge crowd of 30 friends and family. This is so stupid.
Ole KDub runs awesome!
the only time I want to see a burnout is if heating the tires to do a run down the track, or drifting.
yeah sure did
People are entertained by the dumbest s**t. Its one thing to see a car doing a burnout on its own power. But front braking on wet pavement?? I can do that all day on a golf cart.
Aquarium Samurai If You Dont Like The fucking change it?
Aquarium Samurai make a video and show it
Aquarium Samurai Beer, it takes beer to make this interesting
Aquarium Samurai
Is this a burnout contest or a dB contest?
that chevy sounds like a mix between diesel and gas, engine sounds diesel exhaust sounds petrol
6.6 duramax
Thats what happens when a diesel goes to 5k rpm 😂 Dmax's love to rev high
i love 5.9 Cummins
I LOVE THE FIRST ONE
nice video man, keep it up😀
If you watch this video closely you will see the guy spraying the tires isn't concistant with the water flow. He starts and stops on other drivers but is always spraying on the red truck.
the first truck was the best
So thrilling, so much excitement, so much skill! Seriously how fucking boring. My.4 year old daughter could win this event.
H/ll yea! only in a big rig; )
Is this a car wash?
whoever can burnout the longest is how they judge it. she did a burn out the longest
How clouds are made.
... and the point of the exercise is...?
She done that in a diesel truck
Wow. You Americans need water to spin your wheels, what's the point of doing a burnout. Should tell the guy with the hose to go away. You wouldn't get that in Australia.
My guess is that they rigged bleach to the hose to create more traction in turn making more smoke but that may not be true
AARON W Don't know if that's allowed anymore! They used to spray bleach at the big NHRA drags but I think they stopped it there to!
The water helps to get burn outs started. But they keep spaying I believe to keep the tires cool so don't blow apart. (Insurance)
God I'm impressed!!!
you need a big fan to blow in front of the truck for all the turbos
the second car is making clouds
Anyone can slam on the breaks and accelerator at the same time, at any age. Give em a drift course and see how they do.
The third vehicle looked badass but didn't sound badass
What do Americans keep riding the brake
Last guy won
how long do they have
i dont get why the contest exist
If the contest is judged on how loud the crowd is of course a 16 year old girl in a Kenworth truck is going to win because nobody expects it. Congrats to her though most guys probably couldn't even figure out how to drive a truck that big let alone do a nasty burnout in it.
Is it me or does every American burnout need water on the tyres? Fuck me dead
Wanna see burnouts look up Summernats.............that's how its done in AU.
RIP headphone users 😂
you need to learn how to do burnouts like the Aussies!
no tracks in the states have a skid pad like they do down under
That car right after the semi is cool. Did that car come with a diesel engine or did ya just put it in
spaying water while doing burn out standing still and not going till tyres blow , they need lessons in doing real burnouts
it's all about noise and smoke
