I experience this a lot with driving. That point of perfect balance where all that’s required to change the position of the car in space is application of or relinquishing of throttle; slip angle manipulation essentially, but yeah I’ve always been able to allow the car to be come an extension of my body, and do the same with nearly every other tool or instrument I’ve ever used. It’s cool to hear a vocabulary for what I’ve always just assumed had something to do with my physical and mental construction. I also used to experience this when I was young and spent many hundreds of hours in pools or in the ocean with a snorkel; I never had the language to articulate what I was experiencing or noticing until now. Being involved in the orthodox mysteries as well, I’m curious how the application of this concept can be done without spiritual harm, or if I’m simply just more married to fear than I am to God as of yet.

I’ve been hesitating with committing to ridding myself of my pc and most electronic shite over the last several months, and yesterday’s liturgy and watching this video today have finally pushed me past that hesitation. I’ve been wrestling with precisely that fact, as it’s only become more and more clear the longer I participate in the Life. I’ve struggled with it around the notion I’ve been abused by that the technae/sorcery we commonly use is on the same vertical pole as what God is doing/has done through speaking creation into existence, the notion being that these are only separated by degrees. Obviously this is not true, as you point out, why should I be afraid of water restoring through indeed likely its true telos yet be so comfortable with this wicked sorcery? I’ve become unable to see my “gaming setup” as anything more than a scrying and sorcery bench here lately.
