This would work beautifully for a rock crawling / overlanding SUV. You drive up to an obstacle, then instead of using spotters, get out of the vehicle and slowly overtake the obstacle with the best possible view angle.
Bjorn Harms if I want to make one of these, where should I start? Did you start by having an engineering degree? Mechanical engineering? Mechanic? Idk where to start, I wanna make one of these one day too...
Haha.. imagine people's looks when ya come out of a mall with an armload of stuff and instead of trudging all the way to your car, you get the car to come to you. This is pretty awesome and nice smooth control too.
Awesome. You did the right thing by doing this NOW. Dont wait to look for your dreams, you might get too old, like I have, and not be able to accomplish them. I was so impressed with your approach.

Mad props for you man I have always wanted to do that myself I totally get it ever since I was about eight years old it was very awesome to watch a video all this childhood dream of mine also keep up the good work
Have you ever thought about hosting a server to let people drive it from their home? I think it would be an interesting use case blending current virtual gaming and real world machines.
Love how he used flysky TX / RX . I’ve built many budget friendly long range micro drones . Notice my channel name . still a hobby I’m interested in but haven’t flown or built anything in well over a year . I’m gunna get back into it this winter because I normally fly outside while sitting in my warm bedroom on the second story . I have an antenna that sits 15feet above my house so I can get clear video to my goggles & TV from miles away . A real RC car is on my bucket list !
The main skill here is he made it fully controllable and wired for R/C and it is all very well hidden so you cannot see that it's R/C controlled, and also you can still drive it manually as an actual car. The R/C modifications do not interfere with the car.
omg dude this is super awesome you should be work for a company tech or movies where there are using this feature, also some companies may be require this kind a technology for some fleet cars, but some few challenges like law traffic rules because is something serious the road and need be a good purpose and don't let this in people crazy, you look professional and what you doing and I hope you project grown up to next level, this is Innovation and don't forget the safety and purpose this features are the key for a successfully, I love the design of controller is really cool good luck on this buddy.
They have already did that a while back. It is a GTR and was sponsored by PlayStation. Even use a PlayStation remote to drive it, so it is even more game like that using a rc remote. Still very interesting. It's nice that you're still able to drive it yourself without remote.
Bjorn Harms I would much rather use a rc remote all day long. I'm surprised that PlayStation didn't use a car that was completely drive by wire and had some kind of parallel parking assist. With all of that, they could have just taped into ecu and ran it that way instead of using actuators for brake, throttle and steering. I know the only one they'd have to worry about would be gear selector. Could have used a new ford truck because its all drive by wire and also has electronic steering and make an off-road version. Maybe you could do that since your a computer engineer. Toss that idea to the people who want to sponsor you. I'd surely watch a full size rc truck bombing across some dunes or on a short course race track. Food for thought.
As soon as I saw this video and he mention BTTF, I remembered that the DeLorean was a giant RC car bc he tested it on the dog first. Now I want to buy a DeLorean and have him add in the RC controls before taking it to someone who can add the time machine look
As a fellow Vette owner, I really luv this. But i'd be way too nervous to drive my Vette with a remote. Especially considering how many R/C helicopters i've crashed. Haha.
If you don't have a driver's license this might be the best thing for you to drive without really getting into trouble.. i used to have dreaming of having a full size remote control car... that u can get into n not really get into trouble.....
Police: what happened?

I want to see one on here with a plastic body, single cylinder 2 stroke engine, no interior etcetra

This guy would have an unfair competitive drifting advantage.
Drifting is easier with steering wheel, but if he sets up a camera behind the car to get a third person perspective, he could have an advantage.
Vinny V drifting is hard because of the g force tho
@@deleteduser3455 actually feeling the g force makes drifting easier because you can feel exactly what the car is doing and react accordingly
