I’ve picked up on gospel vibes in several of Teddy’s songs. I suspect he’s had some foundation there, his soulful tunes walk the listener thru pain and raw emotions to inspirational endings. His voice is so soothing in a reassuring way that times can be bad but we’re going to be ok. I really like his style.

After 31 years together my hubby still has this uncanny ability to come find me no matter what or where I am and scoop me up in his big ole bear arms and hold me right at the moment I think I'm going to shatter into a million pieces and can take no more..... He's never failed to find me in those moments and to keep me sheltered from the storms and left feeling more grounded, whole and loved than I could've ever dreamed imaginable......

33 years together ended 2-1/2 years ago when my husband passed. I used to love to listen to his heartbeat and feel the rhythm of his breathing as I lay my head on his chest. I miss him so much. God bless and comfort you. So sorry for your loss!

I can hear a gritty and soulful R+B ballad with 2 strong singers and maybe a choir, and I can just as easily hear one man and his guitar sing a vulnerable pure country love song.
