No one knows when the 701 will enter service. From what I have heard a few are going back to Derby, having a pantograph fitted and the problems fixed in Derby
No wonder why the signs say do not alight here. My only nitpick is that they make a big fuss over tripping over a wire as a hazard, what about the risk of a 750V electrocution? In an emergency, I would imagine the power would be isolated.
Sorry to hear about the Air Raid deaths, was the station itself hit or was it the surrounding areas? "Clean up on Central Platform please!" That or as you said make it a garden. I really have to say I liked every Class shown today, the 450' & 455's were great. Thanks again!
Were those Richmond services diverted or do they normally go through New Malden, being honest there is nothing special about New Malden but great film as always Jarred, I'm a big fan of those 455s and 456s
IMO SWR ...their Red\Blue\Yellow.. and Blue\Red\Yellow liveries are best looking on network...I like the 456 ends they look good without connectors......I agree stations should take pride and look as good as they can,tourists might not be impressed with unkempt rubbish and stuff on platforms even if disused...
they certainly have one of the most striking colour schemes in the country and some of the nicest looking trains running around. They all have a sense of character to them, it wouldn't hurt them to look after that central platform

I believe it was the surrounding areas, the station wasn't damaged. I loved coming here this was a great station to film at!
