      Do you know how can we access the explorer tab which used to come on the left side of the screen - for quickly scrolling all the previous mind maps made - for some reason i am unable to see that option and feeling very dumb. Mac user

    Really helpful video. I didn't realise how much functionality there was in SimpleMind. And, once you know it is there, how easy it is to make use of. Thanks.

    I really appreciate the functionality and ease of use of the Simple Mind Map app for note-taking. However, I'd like to highlight an issue that's been bothering me. When I launch the app to quickly browse through my notes, I often accidentally drag nodes or switch the position of topics because there's no default read-only mode. While I understand that there's an option to switch to read-only mode, it's not very handy. Having to navigate through menus to find the 'Read Only' mode is time-consuming, especially during fast-paced work. It would be great if you could make the read-only mode more accessible, perhaps with a quick toggle or a more prominent placement in the interface. Or option to make READ ONLY mode as default mode. Thank you for considering this feedback!

      Hi, most platforms (except phones) can toggle read-only, see simplemind.eu/support/#!/editing/read-only/ . Should you have any questions, please contact our team so we can help.

    Can we ask for adding a new/subtopic as a hotkey? Like just by one click and a new point(sibling or child topic) is generated. Now we have to finish our typing, tape empty space,and to add a new spot, which takes too much effort for quick building structure( this function is shown in many other mindmaps apps like xmind, but overall I like simple mind more so can you guys add this function?)

    • @SimpleMindApp
      @SimpleMindApp  3 місяці тому

      Hi, you can do that now. When you're editing just use "Enter" and "Tab" and you can start typing in the new child topic immediately. Enter + Enter creates a new sibling.

    • @SimpleMindApp
      @SimpleMindApp  2 місяці тому +1

      Yes if you have an eternal keyboard. You can also use the toolbar above the keyboard, that has tools to add topics, images etc. “A” toggles toolbar between typography and tools.

      @@SimpleMindApp Thanks for replying for that! I have another question is, I can’t import files , even though it said we can import txt! (I tried once to import through clipboard but all the nodes are messed up into all separated dots) In that case what should I do?
