I've pretty much given up on liquid liners! I can never get the wings or depth the same on each eye. I have gone the eyeshadow stick route and it works so much better. Kiko eyeshadow sticks are utterly amazing. I use them as a smudgy soft liner and it looks so much more flattering on skin that isn't 20 anymore! I then just use a winged liner brush to create a flick and it's perfect every time. I guess it's trial and error to find something that works for you.....but that's half the fun though with make up isn't it? Experimenting is so much fun! x

I often take my dog for a leisurely 'sniff around' we just take a stroll somewhere different - not particularly exciting but some news smells for her to explore. She can get a bit too giddy sometimes and this calms her down. Hope you start to feel better soon.

Putting on my make up always makes me feel better. Especially if I pull something luxe out that I don’t use all the time as I am “saving it” as it’s spendy. And my best brushes. Self care so important for us. Xxxx

Good afternoon. I always mix my foundations. Especially when one is dewy and one is matte. A mix of both is the best of both. I’m glad you went for a walk. It’s so important to get outside and get some fresh air. We have been getting more cloudy and rainy days here for our Hawaiian winter weather. So I make it a pint to take an umbrella with me when it’s just drizzling and do a 20-35 yoga, stretching and walking workout to help with anxiety. Plus I took up adult coloring and put myself on one hour in the am and pm of social media. Having your dog on a lead is important. Getting a sample is smart. I’ve cancelled my Netflix. I prefer documentaries on UA-cam. Plus you save money. Love your lipstick combination 👏👏👏. I find that my best make up done is when I’m not filming. Stunning look. Have a beautiful and relaxing day.

I totally agree with you about Bareminerals and influencers. It’s backwards. I wanna see people who don’t put concealer under the foundation powder. 🥴 It’s a powder to cream formula, you can actually put concealer on top and it will look great. If you do it right. 😊😏

You're also spot on with your advice about our dogs exercise. Too much of just crazy running around isn't good. Exercising their minds is essential too 🐕🐾🐾.

Hi! I love bareMinerals too! I miss that eyeshadow formula. I worked for the boutique this past holiday but then they shut down all the boutiques in the US 😭. They got bought by Orveon about a year ago. Have you tried their new primers? Different subject but maybe you can train Bertie to always come to you for a treat, and only take his favorite treat when you take him for a walk. 🐾
I haven't even seen their new primers! The UK website is under construction apparently! Everything bareminerals is sold out here! I really hope this new company doesn't change things too much! I'll give the treat a go, thank you xx

Sitting down to do my makeup when I’m feeling blah is almost always an instant pick-me-up. And when I make a consistent effort to do some Yoga With Adriene in the early morning hours before coffee - this too can change my day/mood. 😊💕

Hey sweet friend! So happy to see you! You and I seem to be two birds.. except my anxiety is not my dog, it's my toddler. LOL! When you described birtie running through the fence that literally sounded just like my child. hahaha I couldn't help but laugh. Anyhow, I agree about makeup. There are a lot of things I like but some things just work better then others. Can you take the CT foundation back? I hated that one. It settled like nobody's business and made me look old. It looked great on me upon first glance but within an hour I wanted to wash it off and I never really feel that way about foundations so there must be something in there that my face doesn't like. Double wear really is hard to beat. I haven't had it in a while but when I re-buy it and use it I can see the hype. I'm going to have to get something for Spring/Summer and it will either be that one, or possibly the Nars Soft Matte. I haven't tried that yet but i'm going too. Anyhow, I hope your day gets better! If it makes you feel any better I have dealt with cereal all over the floor, two broken bracelets with beads everywhere, two fits, and barely got to eat lunch all from my mini me. ha! XO

I know right?!! 😆 It's like constant attention unless they are asleep! and like you I need my quiet time or I just loose my shit! lol The annoying thing here is that you can't return opened/used makeup!! That's exactly how I feel about the CT foundation! Did you ever like the Nars Sheer Glow? Their shades are so weird I can never find the right one! @@BlondeTeaParty YES! That's exactly me. I need quiet time, and just space throughout my day or I can't function.. ha. I did like the Nars Sheer Glow. I actually really love the Nars foundations, but I know you do not. For me their shade is spot on which is weird b/c usually with my skintone it can sometimes be a challenge. I do NOT have the patience of a saint, lol, and I lose it some days but I have to keep going. LOL 🤪
I go back and forth with that show! Lol I start watching g it then I get bored, and go back and forth, still on season 2 . Yes sometimes Netflix has junk to watch and that’s so annoying g esp when you’re always home like me . Tfs your makeup always always looks so pretty no matter what u wear a d shame on bare minerals!! How unprofessional of them!! I hope they answer you and start sending your products!!! Oh my would’ve gone nuts too if my dog ran that far !!!

I’ve realised that really pale foundation doesn’t suit me since you spoke about needing a slightly darker one to look better. It’s been a revelation 🎉 What shade did you buy in the CT foundation?
