It appears that Vegeta is finally getting the victory he wanted after all these years. Honestly, this game is become more interesting because of giving characters a second chance for enlightenment.
The story in which Goku becomes a Super Saiyajin in the freaking Saiyajin saga is very short but I love the interactions between goku and vegeta the respect and rival feeling is at 100%
I adore these what ifs. Honestly, I'd love it if they fully animated some of these. They're really compelling and wouldn't trample over Toriyama's legacy since the original story would be intact.

When the two were in the Time Chamber, he taught with a kind and understanding attitude, while nurturing Gohan to the best of his abilities and bringing out his true potential. If you drop his HP fast enough, Trunks will go grade 3 Super Saiyan to show off his power to his father. If you take too long with the fight, Trunks won't transform and the story will continue on the mainstream route.
I applaud you for taking the fight seriously and as skilled as you were against Android 18 i can see this fight being legitimately animated as a what if.
AMAZING idea. The timeline would be insanely different. They would have no reason to travel back in time so the timeline that the show is set in would never happen and goku black might not happen either.

If Vegeta beats the Androids, he doesn’t get the motivation to unlock Super Vegeta and then he jobs even harder to Cell. Losing to 18 was better for him in the long run.
During this what if, his bond Trunks becomes way stronger after Vegeta has to teach him about why his transformation is useless, so basically his development is way faster
Honestly Trunks had been a super saiyan longer than vegeta at that point so logically it only makes sense he broke the barrier first, if he wouldve thought about it some more he and vegeta couldve made tremendous growth in pure power
Whether it's Goku and Gohan, Or Trunks and Vegeta, it's just awesome seeing a Father and Son combo attack in an anime. This brought back such great memories, what an amazing game! :D
Vegeta actually being a father, and embracing the family always makes him stronger, the problem is his pride always stopped him from doing so, ditch the foolish pride and he does better then Goku.
whats impressive is this is not voice acting... its ai trained voices they took vocal data and instructions on how each character behaves in order to create a somewhat convincing story.
Best part of this game is that u CANNOT spam petty nonsense or fight in a classless way unlike xenoverse 2. A almost realistic display of skill n technique when fighting in this game👌
Honestly I always thought this would’ve been better then what actually happened, makes way more sense for vegeta to go ssj2 when trunks dies and fight cell alongside gohan, also it’s way cooler then “gohan has lotta potential so he strong now”

In that case, it's because you have the difficulty lowered. You can't do the what-if routes if the difficulty is not on normal.
