The Robin engine has always been built by Fuji Heavy Industries of Japan. Generally a well-regarded engine, but in the 1980's and 1990 Fuji was a little late adding innovations such as electronic ignition and overhead valves. Today, Robin is right behind the Honda GX OHV engine and is considered superior to the Honda GC and Kawasaki motors
I've seen a couple of four stroke Robin engines branded as Teledyne Wisconsin when I had a shop from the late 90's through the early 2000's. Never seen a two stroke. What is the oil filled sump for? Just to lubricate the governor mechanism?
Very nice engine, and it fits the mower really well too!
Everything about this video was perfect. From beginning to end. Just perfect!
So are you! Thank you for the great comment!
Perfect video well done
Thank you very much!
Good job!
Is this engine is made in Japan?
Looking good

It's a maintenance that looks very tight.
Fc from the country Thailand 😍😍👍
It's not a chain saw, dirt bike or snowmobile....very strange to hear a lawnmower make that sound!! Very sweet rebuild, sir!!
That is because the rotary blade wasn’t fitted - he was demonstrating it. These sound different with the blade on
35:50 Governor install
Nicely done rebuild
Well Done video
Where is the arrow mark on the piston pointed at?
If I remember correctly its towards the exhaust port, but I am not too sure.
Naand AJ weer verbaas jy my met nog n Fantastiese mooi restorasie

Nice work. I would like to know where the engine was made? I have never heard of a Robin engine.
Japan, they are very common and well regarded generally
Perfect despite the blower in the background.

Muito bonito e, mais que perfeito parabéns 👍👍👍 👏👏👏👏🇧🇷

Hi AJ,
I would like to know where i can get that electronic module that you put on the side. Excellent and satisfying build 👌
19:42 this kid literally just spay painted a spark plug...
Yes, that is a broken sparkplug temporarily inserted in order to keep paint from getting into the sparkplug thread. (magic)
@@AJRestoration i know, I just thought it was funny.

Correct, its just for the governor lubrication.
I have one like this robin ec 10, everything is in good condition only the recoil starter is broken. Search everywhere but still can not find it.
Spares for these are scarce, I have a few lying around but shipping is a nightmare in my country.
Blue gasoline?
The 2 stroke oil is blue.
What fuel mix & oil type did you use?
Có mâm lửa của robin ec05 không an
