I not only Met Dawn Wells I spent time with her at the meet and greets. We Became friends because for years I was in the business. i hosted a TV show called Outdoor Wild and Dawn had discussed many ideas for the future, She was indeed the sweet wonderful beautiful person she played on TV. As many of you I felt terrible when she passed. She was with no question a beautiful human being. Love ya Dawn Wells

Thank you for posting this. Dawn Wells/Mary Anne has resonated with grown men & elderly men for over 50 years as well. It isn't just young boys that she resonates with. When the Ginger/Mary Anne question ever comes up I don't hesitate at all. I have always been a Mary Anne guy. I use to love it when she was on the Howard Stern show. He always treated her with respect and she as always so gracious & classy.
Doing walls was without a doubt one of the nicest and most prettiest cutest little girl who I shouldn't say girl lady I did meet her at a autograph show and she was very kind to me and she was crying to the whole line of people that were there together autographed and she actually spoke to us as if we would just as good as she was what she couldn't be because she was just I believe what God meant for somebody to be beautiful and nice rest in peace on
Something that i guess was her secret,(no one ever mentions) she had a house in a tiny little town, in NV. She didnt spend much time there, but when she did she was "just another local". My husband met her a few times at the local diner. They'd chat about the weather, or whatever people in a town with a population of 50-100, chatted about. He said she was very nice, just a "real person, never expected ( or wanted) to be treated better than anyone else"
Yes, I have met her twice. The last time was in 2014. My son and I were invited by Dawn to stay with her in a room for about 15 minutes before the event. Just us and her. The reason is because I bought her tv that her Mom gave to her. I bought it off of her website. She used it in her dressing room during the filming of Gilligan’s Island. When I received it, she had autographed the tv and sent me a picture outside of the Gilligan’s Island dressing room also autographed to me. She was very nice to my son and I. I have a couple of videos on my channel. One is meeting her in the parking lot. The other one shows the TV set that I bought from her. She was so excited to meet me because I bought her Tv. I felt like the celebrity, instead of the other way around. She even called her manager and had me talk to him, because he shipped the tv to me. It was a fun night!
Sounds great, but why did Dawn 'sell' the t.v. if it meant so much to her? My friend met her & Russell Johnson (Professor) at a "Meet the Stars" show & she was most gracious & still beautiful at about age 55!
@@rongendron8705 My guess is there was a time that she was selling things because she had some financial problems. She sold many of her things a few years ago. It is only a guess though. Thanks for watching!

Nice video. I met Dawn Wells in Detroit, MI between 1992-1995. I was a Detroit police officer working with traffic and the crowd during (I think for a Thanksgiving parade downtown). I saw a parked van full of nuns. The van door was open and nuns were going in and coming out, but I could not allow their van to move for twenty minutes or so. I struck up a conversation with the nuns and one of them asked me if I recognized one of the nuns inside the van. I took a closer look and thought I knew the woman from somewhere. Then she smiled and tilted her head, I quickly said, "Mary Ann". We all chatted for a bit more, before they could drive off. They told me they were not really nuns, but only acting nuns for a play in Detroit. Recently, I have been trying to check what play that might have been. I can not find any info in Dawn's credits or any google hits. Do you know what play that may have been?

I have her book Dawn Wells What would Mary Ann do and l read it all the time and the book is always with me l keep it in my bag and l love Mary Ann and Dawn Wells
I was ready to go to war with that certain country were that unusual physical event that shortened some folks lives took Miss Wells from us. Had all sorts of unusual and unpleasant thoughts directed towards that certain country.
I met her many times,my daughter was good friends with her,she was an angel,I still love her, she was
