New subscriber. Thank you for posting this video. It is the best video I have watched regarding the Defender coop/run to understand the pros and cons of it. I have been researching for weeks on which way to go - buy a shed, have someone build me a coop, or go with one of the many pre-built coops. It can get overwhelming LOL! Also love the fact that you clean your coop every other day. : )
I just purchased this coop & i’m so thankful you shared about the cover to go on the top of it. Also when will you post the video about the Over Easy coop? I almost purchased that one before deciding on this one.
We live in South Mississippi, so we don't do anything for winter. That being said, there are a lot of gaps around the doors so if you are in a very cold area I would add some stick on gasket material or something to help keep the draft out.
You clean the coop every other day?! That's insane! Great video. I am looking for the right coop 3_-4 hens. I love the storage attached. Just fill some containers with feed, treat and supplies.
