I copy the 1440p paste bin in my edit layout and not much changes goes in. but when i compare yours and mine they are different/.I even did full wtf, chache and interface reset but its still same.
Honestly, it's the most fun aspect of the game for us weirdos. I love changing things around, reorganizing, restructuring, finding new things crazy people built and seeing how to integrate them etc.
I tend to build my UI similar. But only using one side of this A tier space. This gives me an easy quick turn/angle to see things that might be behind UI elements.
Wow Bellular really taking his video quality to next level. Please keep making good video's like this and the keybinding one!! They're better than Skilledcapped Could you make a video about all the interface & graphic settings, best options for low end high end etc
i love using weak auras to highlight actual buttons on my action bars. so like I have in combat trigger that will highlight my dot button if its not present or about to fall off. another to let me know things like my next press of a non-cooldown skill will do something special based on the game state, for instance, on my mage I have a weak aura that highlights spell steal when there's actually a buff on my target that stealable. the fact you can change the color of the highlight so that it is different from the standard blizzard highlight is key. so basically my action bars are in that S space and I don't need extra ui components.
As a returning player for War Within, I appreciate these guides to get my UI and keybinds sorted so I can actually play! Quick question though - do you plan on doing any updates? When importing the 1440p UI layout it doesn't look like the screenshots/video - the spacing/scaling is off. I checked my resolution and I'm definitely set to 1440p and no UI scaling, so wondering if something else has changed in the 4 months since this video?
There's just a handful of functions Blizz would need to add to their UI, and I would be able to drop all my UI addons. Fingers crossed they'll get there soon!
I remember back during cata I had the entire bottom quarter of my screen one giant console area with maps, trackers, actionbars, health bars and chat frames all with masque and customisable artwork backgrounds and borders. I look back at screenshots of those days and wonder how the hell I managed xD
I'd be interested to see your take on a setup like this tailored to healing; healers, especially in raids, have very different UI needs to DPS and tanks, and I'm not sure your suggested UI necessarily reflects that - though I'm also not entirely sure how I'd go about "fixing" it! Edit: I'm asking this because I really enjoy your "Blizz adjacent" UI design philosophy, and I would love to see a similar-looking setup that's more functionally tailored to my preferred role. Most other healing UI's I've seen rely heavily on addons to achieve their end result, and while I don't necessarily mind addons, I WOULD like to try and get by with a bit fewer of them, especially now that Blizzard have implemented so much functionality that used to be addon exclusive. (AtlasLoot will be missed, however...!)
I use the same setup when healing as a paladin as when I’m or dps. I just increase the size of the health frames a little and move them a bit closer to the middle. When you’re a paladin you’re expected to chip in witha clutch heal, a shield or a movement boost, so I’m already having the frames in the A-tier area. But for sure keep different profiles for dps/tank and healer.
@@Balloonbot I play with WeakAuras, and I like having raid frames right underneath the WA space... but knowing general principles for how to set up your UI is very different from having an actual suggested and fully functional setup. My point is just that it would be neat to see what someone who's a bit more invested and experienced with this than I am could come up with, using few - if any - UI addons. With the various new-ish improvements to the game, HealBot and various fancy raid frame addons are much less necessary than they used to be (though they do still offer more functionality than Blizz raid frames) - and built-in mousover casting has even made macros more of a preference thing than a requirement. The 'needs' of a current UI are vastly different than they were even a couple of years ago, and most UI guides/suggestions, aside from Bellular's, don't really reflect those changes - so I'd be interested to see how he'd set up his UI for the role that has different needs from what he shows in this video.

It's such horrible design to force their player base to spend literal hours trying to clean up the UI just to make the game playable. Retail is SUCH GARBAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Roll your face on the keyboard and do millions of damage.
Don't know how anyone can play with all that shit covering the screen, move it to the sides
Having things in the lower middle makes it easy to keep an eye on it all in one spot. There's generally not a lot going on in that part of the screen so long as you've got the camera angled well.
Lol the comments 🤣
nah never in my life i will use this layout. i still use old school layout, my eyes have 20 years old training to look in those spots without an effort. its impossible to find anything on screen with such ui... middle of the screen is for weak auras not for hps and other bs :D
*Addons is teaching WoW Players to become Braindead and Handicapped.*
*Instead of getting better, players rely more and more on Addons and Scripts.*
*The funniest thing is, WoW is not even the most difficult MMORPG for Endgame.* 🤣
using anything default from blizzard = bad
horrible and unusable… even the stock UI is better.. just dont use this
Stock ui 🤣🤣🤣
Learn to distinguish between 'what you prefer' and 'what is'. If you don't like it, don't use it. But, if you don't like it, then own that. Say "I don't like it" rather than that it's "horrible and unusable". Let me guess: you're the kind of person who says "That's a good movie" instead of "I liked that movie", right? /smh
