Jon, make sure you have business insurance on the van, not a normal insurance policy. if you crash you won't be paid out as you technically won't be covered and you'll also probably loose your licence for driving without insurance.

That's why you never buy a car at bottom price. A car with 13 years old and with 100k km on the odometer smells fishy to begin with. Less than 10k driving per year. That's almost unused. For a bottom bargain price.
I started feeling pain in my gut when he said he was going to get that one.

i doubt that leak just happened when you bought the van. it was probably already happening and the seller was waiting on someone who came in to buy it without giving it a proper look so they could get rid of it. that's why it's so cheap.
also, bad, actually, terrible idea to go on holiday when 1- you're broke, 2- you desperately need to work to avoid the debt getting worse, and 3- it's the period of the warrant you got for the van. if the vacation was non refundable, you should've tried selling it to someone else

    Classic vehicle purchase experience…
That happened to me right after buying a car, the gas was leaking right out of the car as I was filling it… Liters of gasoline on the floor in the station, nice experience…

They were complaining that people were watching like 10 seconds of their video and closed out which killed their retention. So, it would make sense that they started again under a different name. Fingers crossed they haven’t actually gave up!!

If I may, I think if you look back at the most viewed videos on your channel 1-2 years ago, you’ll see a theme with finance and ‘finance challenges’ that got a lot of views and likely made money. I think you might be ignoring the elephant in the room which is the UA-cam channel. You’re attempting to make money and film it, but a much quicker and easier way appears to be investing your time in the UA-cam channel to make entertaining and interesting videos that churn big views. Like you did 1-2 years ago. You might eventually reach 100k made in small business ideas, but the opportunity cost of not making finance/entertainment videos and growing your channel that way seems too big.

Good you're back on something that can make you money but be careful about spending on things you don't fully understand ie vans
Paid Media should drive the business the most when done well, something I mentioned from the start...
