"Give us a twerll Anthia" youre going back a bit. I have never had a Land Rover and at my age I never will.
I have allways done my own mechanics but now too old to lay under cars.
So now I just watch others doing it, and your channel is one of the best and I thank you for it.
I have watched ALL if your videos and enjoyed all of them. Thanks again. M in UK
Thank you Martin!
Great information Mike. Entertaining as always.
cheers fro sharing.
Thanks 👍
Taking you on the road to watch. We're enjoying from Greece!
Look forward to the sleeve installation.
Coming soon! Hope it is a fix - not much room to work with as the 3 bolts that hold the pump on are very close
Don’t forget those front prop shafts are supplied out of phase to suit the poor front differential to tcase geometry. They won’t run in balance in a normal application….
Nice vid mike, great watching strip doen and rebuilds every day is a school day!
Pay attention children....
LoL!
It's all kicking off isn't it? Well, it keeps the wheels of industry turning...
Same as my lt230 except for 1.2 ratio,l end up replacing the gear and drilling a few holes with a sharpen masonry drill,l also put a oil feed and bigger sump. It is noisy when going down the gears in low😮😮
JP will bore holes in the gear with a carbide end mill....
As he wants 1:410 gears, it is possible to fit a late input and saves messing about
Why doesn't Ashcroft's just give you the details of the right bearing. Just being difficult it seems
My old 1986 army 110 was tin cover and holeless gear 1.6 ratio put a gear in it sold it just kept
1989 110 petrol
Only done 47k its 1.6 ratio iv only done oil changes i better look see what gear in it i sent you rusty chassis picks
Great stuff as always. Will we ever meet the legend that is J.P. I wonder?
I seem to remember we did once a number of years back.
That's answered my question from the last video - can you drill them yourself! I'm liking the mobile gantry crane. And your business is similar to mine with periods of no work, then like buses, it all kicks of at once.
You will be drilling the gear until we have sensible governance!
It is very hard
You can get the oil plate from Ashcroft's
You’ll make life easier by grinding through the case hardening before drilling. Pick your spots, give a little grind maybe 1mm deep then drill.
Good game, good game Mike, your conveying list of jobs must surely have something cuddly?
I do have 2 x pussies....

Not bandicoots? 🙈🙏🦘😀
Miss my Raccoon
improper lubrication/cooling has killed more moving parts than just about anything.
It's only May, Mike. Unless you're posting from a month in the future.
That's what you get when you edit videos at 5.00 am
