Hammock camping alongside King Arthur ....... a look at the Battle of Mount Badon

A bit of a history investigation here. The Battle of Badon was a line drawn in the sand between two very different cultures. The Romano Brits on one side and the Saxons on the other, a fight for dominance or continuace. The year of approx 493 saw a repurposing of a Iron age fort, many built 1200 years previously.
I spend a night at a site of contention in that the Battle of Badon was waged and the Legend of King Arthur was started.
