  • Joe L. McQueen arrived in Ogden in 1945. He worked as a railroad porter at the Union Station depot and played saxophone in clubs on 25th Street, including the Porter's and Waiters Club.
    This interview with McQueen was recorded in 2007 for the documentary "Ogden: Junction City of the West."

    I TALKE TO JOE ON 25 DRIVE just a few weeks before he passed at 100 GOT A GREAT TALKE WITH HIM ,,,

    I get his journey! But!, how many women did he sleep with? How many times did his wife cry because of his behavior!?🤷‍♀️
    What a lucky man to have a wife for that many years, to stick by you. Geesh, we all know how those musicians are. RIP, sir.❤️
