Basicly Mipmaps will decrease the texture quality based on its distance from the camera to save performance. Its pretty common and most people wouldn't normally notice it because you already see less detail the further away a texture is. Just happens it didn't work very well in this case.

Shiny hunting is like the one thing I told myself I'd never do, because I have the worst luck, yet I do it anyway. In Sw/Sh, for my shiny Mawile, I had to hatch over 10,000 eggs. And that is using both the Shiny Charm and the Matsuda Method. I was over odds by like 20 times, because you reduce shiny rates down from like 1/4,000~ to 1/400~ in that game.
The rates are nuts. I don’t shiny hunt but I have over 300 hours in Sword and have only seen 1 shiny but I don’t even know what it was so I probably killed it lol
