Hey I just started playing again after stopping after fifa 15. Can you explain why your formation at the start says 4-4-1-1 (2) but your tacktical preset changes it to 4-1-2-1-2. Are there any advantages to not have your initial formation as 4-1-2-1-2?

This could be because of chemistry ratings and the players positions. Some players such as maybe the midfielders are made as LM but you want to play them as a CM. If you set up the 4-1-2-1-2 then the LM player will have a zero chemistry rating. This chemistry rating is important so usually we set one of the other tactics (the attacking or defensive tactic preset) as the tactic we want so that we can have a team with a high chemistry rating.
TLDR: Chemistry ratings are the reason why he does this

@@timothysamuel1192 imo chemistry is way less important than playing on a position which is not part of the players set up. And changing formations will not fix that issue in this game.
