Just bought an S6 with 600HP. tuned. Mines actually peels out on an all wheel drive system when taking off.... 0_0 Thinking of upgrading the turbos too into the RS7 but honestly she's perfect just like this.

I went with RS+ turbos a month after I got my S6 and its been amazing, going to be upgrading turbos again to TS1/2 with upgraded clutches and WMI so hopefully I'll be 9 second in the 1/4
Can u just go with the RS7 turbos stock? Or do you have to be at the Stage 3 part to be able to put in the turbos
@@jay2smoove589 stage 3 is the accompanying tune, do you HAVE to run stage 3 ? No but you will be slow until you do. Even if you’re running a stage 1 it won’t be as fast because the ECU thinks it’s running stock turbos and it’ll take longer for the RS turbos to spool. If you’re going stage 3 get DS1 first.

Not sure if you addressed the additional upgrade needed when it comes to the stock intercooler. I have a 14' S6 with the SRM CHRA+4 turbos with Stage 3. I went with the APR intercooler to keep the intake charge temps down with "spirited" driving. I'm also in the Raleigh area. Black S6 with the tag "V8TWINTT". Good luck with your continued project.
Intercooler doesn’t help restriction is at the IC brick poor design. Only cooling option is meth but you can argue the HX with a upgraded cwa100 pump
I think that wasnt launch control just brake boosting. For launchcontrol with dl501 the esc also need to be off

So do you run RS7 ECU software or find a tuner that supports upgraded RS6 turbos?
I would like to know this since I am adding RS6 turbos to mine. Or if I can add and tune later
do u guys dont have a rs6 c7 in the us?? the s engine is different from the rs6 / 7 engine. and the new generation of 4.0t sq8/urus c8 rs 6 / 7 is also a different engine, designed or improved by porsche
No we don't sadly but we have the all new RS6 wagon in the States
The engine itself isn't much different. The biggest differences are upgraded turbos, higher powered stock tune, and the ZF8 trans which can handle a lot more power, instead of the 7 speed DSG in the S6
@@thunderch1ck3en the engine has larger main bearings different lower oil sump case with extra fittings for a air to oil cooler, different camshafts design and material and different valve materials. Different rods and pistons and also therefore a lower compression. The transmission + lager main bearings + better oil cooling are the reason why the rs engine can handle way more power. Porsche helped with the c8 rs engine. The c7 is only from Audi/ rs gmbh
