These back rooms videos really pull the viewer into the setting. However, what I haven't seen a lot of is what I would expect: journals. Chronicling someone's exploration. Seeing someone's face, just to say I was here. I mean, that's what I would do. I'd want people to know that it was me that was here if someone found the footage but not my body.

The fact there ISN'T a face associated with the footage is part of the appeal - you feel like YOU are there, experiencing it, because "someone else's face" isn't messing with your experience. That said, the few times I HAVE seen someone try it were Kane pixels who did a good job, and this other freak who utterly failed. The freak is some orange sock faced very specific character who is just annoying and basically mocking the backrooms, having fun and screwing around like he's God back there. no.
