Thanks for the vid. Glad to see these types of trips are easily done. I may have missed it, but how much was the bus trip back from Seville to Lisbon? Thanks again for the vid.
Thanks for watching. It was an easy trip, even with the hiccup. Will be even easier taking a direct bus. The bus trip from Seville to Lisbon cost 25€ per person.
What a lovely trip! Seville is absolutely stunning. And I loved that you ate and drank and did it some more... I think of my next meal all day! And trying new foods is a joy😊Your hotel looked amazing, too! Thank you for sharing.
What a beautiful spur of the moment trip! I agree that those kind of trips are essential stressful, because less time to worry! 😆 Thanks for sharing and this is definitely on our bucket list when we relocate at some point.
Absolutely loved your trip. The hotel was beautiful. You made me put this on my list of places to go once we’ve moved and settled in Lisbon (Oct/Nov 2022 🙏🏾)
Absolutely beautiful! And such a great video. Love the scenes of the jaw-dropping architecture and the great choice of music. The only thing that seemed to be missing was the regularity of shady trees and the fine breeze of Lisbon. People were looking really hot 😅. Thanks for sharing.
What a beautiful video💕, I just love how y'all spur of the moment take a trip! Can't wait until me and my hubby can do the same(hopefully retiring in a couple of years🤞) very inspiring, love traveling with you guys💕
So beautiful! The city reminds me so much of Cordoba, even down to the color of the buildings. Seville is definitely on my list of places to visit, thanks for the video!
Hi Jamillah, thanks for watching! Seville is truly beautiful, with so much to see and do. We haven't yet visited Cordoba, but look forward to one day. So much to explore in Andalucia -- I can see where it would be easy to spend a lot of time in that region.
Beautiful Video, loved the music. Bus is an easy way to travel and book in advance. We take the bus over the train when traveling around Portugal when we don't want to take the car. 😀
Olá K&M. Bummed about that missed bus connection in Faro, I’m sure. ☹️ Was curious about that since we’re planning a similar bus trip from Tavira to Seville. Seville brings back lot of good memories-stopped by between our trip in Morocco and Madrid a few years ago. Did your apartment have direct access to an elevator? Certainly looked that way. Would you mind sharing the name? Looks like you got a great deal in an excellent location. Worth returning to see the Alcazar on your next trip. Cheers. 👋🏻
Hey there, yes, we were bummed for about 5 minutes … but then we remembered we weren’t on any set schedule. It was a good lesson, too, that we should probably book the bus tickets at least a day or two in advance. But you know I’m all about less hassle and more convenience, so Uber was the obvious choice. Fortunately it worked out great! Yes, the apartment had direct elevator access - it was a great find. It’s Suites Murillo Alcázar and the link is in the description. Thanks for watching!
How long was the bus ride from Faro to Sevilla? I study Flamenco dancing via and 2 of my teachers are out of Triana, Sevilla. I hope to study with them in person some day. I would love to be in Spain but my husband would prefer Portugal so was thinking about the Eastern Algarve which is close to Spain.
A bus from Faro to Seville is about 2h 45m. Flamenco dancing is so beautiful. We did not go over to Triana on this trip but will the next time. Eastern Algarve has great proximity to Spain - it’s probably the best of both worlds. Thanks for watching!
The train looked really nice and clean. Now lets talk about that hotel room, very nice indeed. The pricing on this all for last minute travel was a bit pricey but considering you went to a different country not crazy over the top expensive. So the Uber drivers can come and go across the borders ok without much hassle? Do you think that 3 days is enough to see things in that city? Did you say how much that trip back non stop was on the bus? That sure did not look like a Grayhound bus..lol Great video thanks for taking us on your trip..
Hey Michele, glad you liked the video. We loved Seville and look forwarding to returning. Three full days is probably enough, depending on how much sightseeing you like to do each day. It's also somewhere you could spend a leisurely week or three. The bus trip back to Lisbon from Seville was 24 euro. We got into the habit of doing last minute travel many years ago, as we have a relative that works for an airline. So lots of non-rev trips. I thought the hotel was a steal at that price -- it's tough finding last minute accommodations at reasonable prices, but it can be done. Now that we're here in Portugal, we're trying to learn to plan ahead a bit more to save on costs. Our Uber driver had no problem driving us to Spain. He could not work there, so no picking up fares in Seville, so we compensated him for his time to drive back to Portugal. Thanks for watching! ~Kirsten

@@whatsupwkirsten Thank you. I appreciate your videos. 👍🏻
You took an Uber to a whole other country for just over twice the price for me to take an Uber to SFO, during the day (I’m in Oakland). Cool!
You’re not gonna miss those Bay Area prices. Thanks for watching!
