This has happened so many times now, including his seriously questionable meetings in Qatar.
Being the FM of Scotland doesn't allow you to hold meetings with Head's of State. These types of meetings are the in the purview of fhe Foreign Office and Foreign Secretary
There's one element to the tensions between Starmer's government and some elements of the Muslim community that many are not aware of, that is the fact that Starmer's wife and kids are members of the Jewish community and I believe Starmer also attends services at their Synagogue.

Muslims criticising Israel but not Turkey are hypocrits. Don't know what I mean, look up Turkish operations in the Kurdish Region. The only differenc is, Turkey has been doing it a lot longer but for the same reasons Israel is doing what its doing.
