I so remember this parade. My Great grandfather had a shop up on the left. This was back in about 1966. We watched the parade from there. Great memories.
7:22- 7:33 - I can tell from experience that they did continued with the Great Circus Parade, at least throught out the 1980's. I don't know after that. I went to see this with my mom around 1987, or 1988. My mom won a radio contest, and we won bleacher seats to see this.
wonder if they ever, found out who the teenagers at the "1994" parade who threw something at the horses, and started a stampede in the crowd??!/ thank GOD no one was, seriously hurt!! ✝️💒🙏😇/ yr later, some ponies slamed in to the announcement booth!/ But they edited it out, of the video, to purchase!

I remember what a Big Deal this was in the summer back in the 80s. Once the late 90s hit, interest was decreasing.
