Congrats made close to the same felt I could have made a few thousand off of it but was hesitant on a sell off and the halts didn’t help either halted like 6 times
Went red about 670$ then got it turned around for a 97$ profit green day. I started over in the simulator about 7 days ago and every day so far has been green. Started with 2000 and bow I'm at 3647.25 not to bad if I cab keep this going I think I will be switching to real money shortly. 💪🤞💪thank you ross. Love the content and great info.
Ross you NEED to really go deep on this 10 second chart method- we are retail traders! this is an advanced skill and some brokers wont even give us less than 1 min...cmon! educate us!
The method is the same on all time frames. First candle to make a new high after a pull back. Stop loss at the low of pull back profit taking as it approaches the previous high. You want a 1/1 target or better. 20 cents of risk for 20 cents for example. I'm no expert thou so double check that to make sure I'm correct
I'll be honest. I got caught on the backside my trade yesterday morning, ugh. rough. It's so so challenging with the 'extra' small account to make any mistakes. But that's what I did. I knew it the second I pulled the trigger too. Meh, what can ya do. That's me breaking my rules and paying for it. Live to trade another day. Just a little less money now. It's a learning experience. I pulled the trigger On a stock where float was too high, and the news headline was a day old. Can't even tell you why I took the trade other than basically over-excitement/FOMO. Newbie mistake.
On days like today I tend to focus on the 1min and the 15min, get in on MACD early and LOW (below 0) and make sure the stock is trending upward. With that I hit 3X my daily goal with $TVGN and 2 trades ... Small account challenge sitting at $9,320 starting with $300 on August 1st ... total number of trades in challenge are right at 200 ... I'm with you Ross, I don't want to push my luck any further today.
Not sure I understood your strategy here. You are entering on MACD below zero when it starts to open up? That doesn't really happen very often on stock that is trending up. For example, there were no such points today on VRAX until it started selling off. Or maybe I misunderstood something?
@@alextrigger8199 I should say MACD Histogram. The MACDH goes above and below Zero ... I tend to focus when it is just under Zero making it's way above Zero.... If you wait too long above Zero you can get caught in a trap
One thing I do in the simulator is try and trade with the size that I have in my cash account, that way those wins give me a real sense of possible wins. Keep Killing It.
Just rember in simulation your trading like your in a fully funded margin account easy to get in and out cash account you will find you will hold longer cause it’s your only opportunity that day to make a profit

I've been watching TVGN and made a little money on it and noticed that they usually do their move about 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. That's when it gets at its highest.
Hey just wanted to give u a suggestion for a tip on a episode. I never hear about picking a time and session to trade that fits u. At the moment I use robinhood which doesn't allow trading tip 7:30 central. But at then gates if something isnonna run it's way over extended by that time cause it's the end of the session at market open and who knows how it's gnna go from there. Starting at 830 ish moves u onto the next play. I think anyways 😅
The only metric I can see that really is different is that everything doubled and notably Ross's hold time went up an entire minute....Which is a huge metric change in terms of trading.
On a day like today, I'm content being green at all 💚 I was in both early and got shook by the grind so just grabbed a little profit closer to the top. I've also started targeting the first thing to pop after 4 usuing the rule that closing price of the first big green candle reps 50% of the move. . The trick is watching the gainers list to get in before it hits scanners, then just ride that wave until it's up another 50%. It's pretty consistent as a strategy so it's easier to walk away early knowing I can almost always fall back on that later!
So happy you mentioned today has been slowly stepping stocks, I haven't got enough experience to know there's days that happens, so took a bit of a confidence knock. Manage to make 1% today though, after being down 2.5.
I logged out of my broker after 8:22. I got a decent move on VRAX as it was starting that move around that time. Got in about 2.30 got out about 2.40. I saw it going up even higher on your stream as i was turning the pc off. I was feeling a bit of FOMO, but i can't complain about hitting 150% of my daily goal.
When trading a Bull Flag pattern, do you buy on the confirmation candle (when it breaks the previous candles high) as it is forming or immediately after it closes at a new high of the previous candle?
I had a good day. My goal is 100-300 dollars a day for now. I got $269 on LRHC, decided to keep going but kept it strict on my risk/losses. Lost $30 on the 2nd trade and decided to call it. Overall green for $239
I switched brokers cuz I kept losing hundreds if not thousands at the open with Fidelity on throttled orders. I higly suggest you switch, the extra interest on your cash isn't worth it
I Like ATP. Seems we get good fills. I had the same problem. Bought SAVE and got no confirmation. Went to web page and apparently I bought it. Got out before the dump and made 9 bucks. Could have been down 600. Close call.
Was down $400 on first two trades and than recovered $200. So overall loss of the day $200. It was tough today to trade the momentum. Didn’t able to get proper entry idea
@@deejay4837 live account…when I saw the breaking news I knew it’s a big deal..and I saw it early..when it was up only 6%…it should give it bullish sentiment for a few weeks n also more news to come being aligned with Microsoft, but anything can happen…regardless I have enough profit to take the risk on tvgn.. the same with Vrax…good breaking news to give bullish sentiment, got in early…saw the news on lrhc late but same thing…these 3 stocks “should have bullish trend overall” but might be a bit volatile…day traders in and out and shorts pushing it down…so a bit risky..

Had my worst day ever today. Meant to buy 200 shares for BIVI and my broker executed 800 even though I only pressed once. Stock dropped 20 Cents and I had to bail out for a $140 loss. Have no idea what happened. Spent an hour and 20 mins on the phone with IBKR and got no answers.
red on vrax 1200 green for the past two days give it all back and then some today didn't hold when it was dipping as soon as I sold it rip right back up I traded twice and both times as soon as I bought when it was moving away it was just dip I hold $.20 $.25 dip and then sold we need to watch it right back up so I give back all my profit for the past two days
In 4 months, today was my 1st lost in penny stock and its crazy because i was up $789.00 in profit in $CYCC and when i sold, it brought it down to -$123.00 so ill get it back tomorrow.
I'm joking of course, but it 'feels" as though the stock has "quantum resistance" coming up to just under the level you buy in at after dipping down and then coming right back up to just under the level again. ... all while there is no indication of resistance.
Only half my daily goal was met today. My trading software was flakey for the first 90 minutes of the morning. It would not bring up charts, nor would it show my trades and fill status.
Hey Ross quick question . My first trade of the day I was looking for the break for of the .50 cent mark to the whole dollar and had placed a buy order at .54 . It filled at the whole dollar and dropped all the way back to down to 50. My second trade I was green . And my third trade I hit my stop loss , put a sell order in at -15 cents a share . Didn’t get filled so I canceled and tried again . Didn’t get filled . And needing up not getting filled until another 50 cents under . My question to you is , i was following my rules . Do I count this as a loss . Or just a fluke in the system and reset my balance ?.

Vrax did rug pull on me X 2. So got in on initial 6an move. Up 47 and went to sell n flushed down 87 to 106. Added and sold half bringing my loss down 50 or 60. Held while going to work sold for 10 gain. Green bit then I watched it grind higher. So mad. Happy I'm green though. No trades after that for me. Groggy n tired today.
Yep ATP was in broke mode for me the first 90 minutes of pre-session. I struggled with it and it messed with my head. It made me timid to enter any trade, for fear the platform would fail mis-trade.

I was hoping VRAX Would run at the open.i got on at 2.04 and scaled out half at 3.21. Market sold off so I just got out the rest at 2.75 Wasn’t worth hoping it would turn around lol

I bought LRHC when it was $0.69 after the news. Then it dropped to .50 or something, then I just set a $2.5 sell limit and go walk my dog waiting for the market open, eventually sold at 1.20😂

As a brand new trader I lost $100 yesterday following the rules except I didn't want to let go. The stock had news, it shot up during pre then dropped and kept dropping after open. Never to go back up again. A bit discouraging, but I guess it's my fault I just didn't cut my losses earlier. Plus I'm limited to 3 trades per week. like I said I want to grow my small account up to the 25k min but that's looking somewhat daunting at this point.
Yeah, well I can see that I made $119. It’s dead by this time now that the vote video was just posted so definitely around 11 scary. I’ve recuperated for an extra 33 at the end of the day, which brought my amount up to $152.
Struggled to get over $100 premarket then went red $100 buying back in on BIVI at the high when there was no reason to. Managed to break even with VRAX as it curled back up then I repeat a mistake from yesterday and buy back in on VRAX at the open and am red $300. Even though I realized the market was cold I still spiraled my way to -$1k buying NNE, made back $400 on LHRC on one bull flag then ended the day at -$2k with some ridiculous jacknives on UAVS. I don't know why I can't stop myself from spiraling so much it's taking a toll on my mental health. For some reason I can't accept a break even day it's ridiculous
How long have you been trading? give yourself a break and go through all your trades. Find top 3 mistakes you been repeating just avoid them and plan to grow slow for 2-3 weeks (get green and turn off computer) before being aggressive, it helps.
Sounds pretty familiar. I try to repeat every day before starting: "Don't enter when you see stock going up - always wait to enter from support" and "Don't EVER average down". Those are my two main mistakes. Not sure what yours are, but try to identify them, write down the rules to avoid them and start your day with reading them and repeating them to yourself until they become a habit. It's really difficult, but I'm working on that - today I finally managed to not break them.
Also, pay attention to what happened in previous days - VRAX had a high volume red day just a couple of weeks earlier, which left a bunch of bag holders. With today's price almost at the top of that day's level, I expected to see a lot of selling at the open (honestly was even surprised when it didn't do so immediately)
Lost $700 on CVCC today cause I didn’t understand the news was sell and Webull I swear spoofed the chart I had a sell order at 8:048:05 and it showed a double top for like 2 whole seconds and never filled my order to sell ended up holding to long
i went down 895 today in the sim. thank GOD im not live just yet. Yesterday was worse like 2100 i cant even imagine telling my wife "hey i lost 2 grand in under 2 minutes, ohh by the way im talking about my live account". 😅🤣😂

Absolutely right to walk away. I kept trading, I am paper trading, and it started to go downwards and gave back 1/3 of the 300 I made at the beginning

Had my worst day ever today. Meant to buy 200 shares for BIVI and my broker executed 800 even though I only pressed once. Stock dropped 20 Cents and I had to bail out for a $140 loss. Have no idea what happened. Spent an hour and 20 mins on the phone with IBKR and got no answers.
red on vrax 1200 green for the past two days give it all back and then some today didn't hold when it was dipping as soon as I sold it rip right back up I traded twice and both times as soon as I bought when it was moving away it was just dip I hold $.20 $.25 dip and then sold we need to watch it right back up so I give back all my profit for the past two days
In 4 months, today was my 1st lost in penny stock and its crazy because i was up $789.00 in profit in $CYCC and when i sold, it brought it down to -$123.00 so ill get it back tomorrow.
I'm joking of course, but it 'feels" as though the stock has "quantum resistance" coming up to just under the level you buy in at after dipping down and then coming right back up to just under the level again. ... all while there is no indication of resistance.
Tough day to get wins. Finished small green, but could have been small red easily. Waiting for the next big momo now

Only half my daily goal was met today. My trading software was flakey for the first 90 minutes of the morning. It would not bring up charts, nor would it show my trades and fill status.

Hey Ross quick question . My first trade of the day I was looking for the break for of the .50 cent mark to the whole dollar and had placed a buy order at .54 . It filled at the whole dollar and dropped all the way back to down to 50. My second trade I was green . And my third trade I hit my stop loss , put a sell order in at -15 cents a share . Didn’t get filled so I canceled and tried again . Didn’t get filled . And needing up not getting filled until another 50 cents under . My question to you is , i was following my rules . Do I count this as a loss . Or just a fluke in the system and reset my balance ?.
Hey Ross , I was able to go from -200 to plus 34 on the day . With very small share size , very slowly .
Yup. I walked away break even on VRAX. I held in hopes it would break $4 and then heading north from there. It didnt. Got in and out at 3.20. 🤔

Vrax did rug pull on me X 2. So got in on initial 6an move. Up 47 and went to sell n flushed down 87 to 106. Added and sold half bringing my loss down 50 or 60. Held while going to work sold for 10 gain. Green bit then I watched it grind higher. So mad. Happy I'm green though. No trades after that for me. Groggy n tired today.
Yep ATP was in broke mode for me the first 90 minutes of pre-session. I struggled with it and it messed with my head. It made me timid to enter any trade, for fear the platform would fail mis-trade.
How do you place a stop order in the pre market? Think or swim doesn’t appear to allow
You can’t use stop orders pre market.

I know your daily goal is $5k, which you've admitted before is arbitrary. It seems the market is heating up. Why not see what your average daily is over the last 90 days and make that your new daily goal?

I bought LRHC when it was $0.69 after the news. Then it dropped to .50 or something, then I just set a $2.5 sell limit and go walk my dog waiting for the market open, eventually sold at 1.20😂

As a brand new trader I lost $100 yesterday following the rules except I didn't want to let go. The stock had news, it shot up during pre then dropped and kept dropping after open. Never to go back up again. A bit discouraging, but I guess it's my fault I just didn't cut my losses earlier. Plus I'm limited to 3 trades per week. like I said I want to grow my small account up to the 25k min but that's looking somewhat daunting at this point.
Yeah, well I can see that I made $119. It’s dead by this time now that the vote video was just posted so definitely around 11 scary. I’ve recuperated for an extra 33 at the end of the day, which brought my amount up to $152.
Struggled to get over $100 premarket then went red $100 buying back in on BIVI at the high when there was no reason to. Managed to break even with VRAX as it curled back up then I repeat a mistake from yesterday and buy back in on VRAX at the open and am red $300. Even though I realized the market was cold I still spiraled my way to -$1k buying NNE, made back $400 on LHRC on one bull flag then ended the day at -$2k with some ridiculous jacknives on UAVS. I don't know why I can't stop myself from spiraling so much it's taking a toll on my mental health. For some reason I can't accept a break even day it's ridiculous
Slowdown!
How long have you been trading? give yourself a break and go through all your trades. Find top 3 mistakes you been repeating just avoid them and plan to grow slow for 2-3 weeks (get green and turn off computer) before being aggressive, it helps.
Sounds pretty familiar. I try to repeat every day before starting: "Don't enter when you see stock going up - always wait to enter from support" and "Don't EVER average down". Those are my two main mistakes. Not sure what yours are, but try to identify them, write down the rules to avoid them and start your day with reading them and repeating them to yourself until they become a habit. It's really difficult, but I'm working on that - today I finally managed to not break them.
Also, pay attention to what happened in previous days - VRAX had a high volume red day just a couple of weeks earlier, which left a bunch of bag holders. With today's price almost at the top of that day's level, I expected to see a lot of selling at the open (honestly was even surprised when it didn't do so immediately)

Lost $700 on CVCC today cause I didn’t understand the news was sell and Webull I swear spoofed the chart I had a sell order at 8:04 8:05 and it showed a double top for like 2 whole seconds and never filled my order to sell ended up holding to long
