Sadly, I'm hadn't forgotten about Kevin Debrow. I had a chance to meet Quite Riot several times during their heyday. He was funny and kind and I still miss him
Quiet Riot had been one of the best metal bands of the 70's and 80's. I never met them or even gotten to see them live, but, they were part of my teen age years in the 1980's. Keven Dubrow's younger brother, Dr Terry Dubrow, is a famous plastic surgeon in LA California. He and another plastic surgeon Dr. Nasiff, have or had a show on Tv called "Botched" where they would "fix" mistakes that other plastic surgeons had made on patients. Terry had briefly mentioned how his older brother Kevin had been fun to hang with back when he'd been alive, and how sad it had been when Kevin had died. You can totally see the family resemblance. Terry is a blonde though. But, they both had/ have a strong resemblance to the "Family Guy" character "Quagmire".
Proud Swede here, I can tell you that Marie Fredriksson was very loved and super famous here in Sweden both for Roxette and for her own successful solo career (tho mostly, if not fully in swedish) that made some of the most iconic love ballads in Sweden. I will also say that Per has written a lot of iconic songs here in Sweden both from Roxette, Gyllene Tider (another iconic band he was in and wrote pretty much every song for that is super famous here) and with his own solo career so they are/were some of the biggest names in swedish music history
@@zero_bs_tolerance8646 Me and my wife saw Roxette on their last tour in Manchester. Marie struggled to walk on stage but sang very well. It was very moving and her death is really sad. RIP.
These are all very very sad of course, eerie bit of trivia, I saw Laura branigan in concert a couple weeks before her passing, and I still have trouble listening to anything by Roxette, that one just ripped my heart apart, too many great artists that are gone too soon. And lest we forget, Terry Hall of the specials and fun boy 3

Sad story about DuBrow…the poor guy who found him though he was wearing the mask from the cover of Metal Health but it was just decomposition from how long he had been dead. Truly sad what addiction does to people.
@@aprilgosa5779 I’ve read myself various reports about his excessive drug use. I understand lots of people were involved in that lifestyle and not everyone is an addict, however, as an addict myself, he had an addiction issue
Kevin DuBrow looks like a cross between Marc Bolan and Brian May. As for Mark Hollis, respect to him for going against what his record company wanted him to do and just being himself.

Robbin Crosby from ratt, ratt would be selling out shows bigger than Motley Crue had he still been alive

Kevin Dubrow
Mark Hollis. His albums (with Talk Talk) Spirit of Eden and Laughingstock are considered two of the best art-rock albums of all time.

Marie was beautiful and talented. She really is an icon. When you think of 80s music, her image and voice will invariably appear. Gone too soon.
