Nice Video Dustin. That's the first time ive seen the 2CD version and its really neat. Ive assumed that I don't need it because of the 5CD set but Im impressed with how it looks for sure
It is a true mini-boxed set. And value wise it can’t be beat. I didn’t notice at first but 13 of the 14 songs have a session or outtake representing them. They just didn’t put them in order this time. The Sgt Pepper and Abbey Road 2 CD sets did track for track with a variation on the main album. Kinda cool hearing it in the order you expect, but different. The White Album sorta is too as the Esher Demos go in track order too. Just not every song got a demo. Plus there were demos that didn’t make the album.
@@beatleytonesbeatleschannel these are very well packaged. All of the Anniversary / Special Editions have been exactly like this too. Aside from the White Album. For the budget conscious Beatles fan, they are getting a fantastic product.
This is the one I can afford. Great how it's got Take 1 of the uber psychedelic Tomorrow Never Knows! But I wish they somehow could have squeezed the Lennon takes of Yellow Sub on there in lieu of "take 4 before sound effects" version. Can't have it all for twenty bucks I guess, lol! I'll be happy with it I am sure.
The 2 CD set, in my opinion, is the best bang for the buck you can get. Those YS versions are great. But I like they did both the remixed singles. Plus a variation of each track aside from Good Day Sunshine. Plus the packaging and book are really good too. Keep on Revolving.
Great video!! Like you I collect the 2 cd sets as well as the 5cd deluxe sets. Witch 2 cd set is your favorite and witch deluxe set is your favorite? There are always certain songs put on the deluxe sets that are not put on the 2 cd sets. Witch songs would you like to see put on or included in the 2 cd sets if the 2 cd sets were to be redone ?
I like the Sgt Pepper’s and Abbey Road as they recreated the album in order, but with outtakes or sessions. However the White Album had the ultimate bonus disc with the whole Esher Demos disc in the Deluxe version. On the Revolver sessions, I’m a fan of all the And Your Bird Can Sing versions. I just absolutely love that song though. I really had a fun time with the Yellow Submarine takes too. “We all live in a Yellow submarine. Look out! A yellow Submarine. Get down!” I loved that! Got such a kick out of it!!!
