- Please excuse the stumbling and such. Criticism welcome! :D
After being stupidly indecisive, I'm just putting all my piano originals here. I'm going to be doing one a week. Every Monday. :D Sorry about all the confusion with JamCompositions. xP
Composed and Performed by Jake McCoy
Piano: Casio CDP-120BK
this is super legit. this is furthering inspiring me to relearn piano this summer. looking forward to more compositions c:
I love it, I can imagine opening up a good long rpgish game with a good story and hearing this at the title sequence, Quite beautiful and well done. You have great talent sir, I tip my hat to you.
I still find it hard to believe you're only a few months younger than me but are able to produce such high quality music on guitar. Now that you're tackling piano, I wouldn't be surprised if you end up mastering EVERY instrument. ;) Keep up that amazing talent!
Hey, you almost have my same keyboard! 0:21 was pretty cool with that Bb. I really liked it. It's also appropriately titled.
Aww that was so short but so pretty :) Aside from the brief hesitations you had, it sounded amazing. I can't think of much advice for you hehe but keep on writing originals :)
I probably should've practiced the piece more, really. I just had to remember what was next. Being better at piano would help, too. xD But thank you! Glad you like it!
This is stunning.
This is relaxing
It sounds very nice, good job!
Nice piece, I liked it a lot
Jake, you did a great job!
Can I die? Would that be acceptable? Every Monday, A BLESSING HAS BEEN SENT FROM ABOVE!!!
great job
Haha, yeah, that was fast, right? xD I decided consolidation is best. Plus, it's not like I'm doing something completely different. Music is music. :D
Very pretty dude. Has that Pallet Town vibe :)
This was very nice and I loved the sweet sound that it had. Thank you for posting this here. Thanks for being awesome with your music. As far as criticism goes, I can't talk much about this as I don't play piano. The only thing I can say is that I felt like those small breaks were a bit too much and just felt like they were out of time. I feel like they're what you meant by "the stumbling and such" in the description so you already knew about them any way. Overall, this was really beautiful.
Tabs? Beautiful song mate, you give me reason to enjoy mondays moar
i like it!
Cool stuff brotha man
Nice job! :)
Keep on writing, it was beautiful :) A shorty but sweety. And "A Beginning" sounds like an apt title. It fit the tone and also fit the fact that this is the first (with more to come hopefully!). Were the hesitations because you were nervous or you haven't had as much experience with piano as guitar? Either way, great job Jake :D
Reminds me of "To The Moon" ost
Just beautiful man
I never hear u in a keyboard, just in guitar but your also good.
I want to hear you in an original song of you with only 2 instruments.
Electric guitar and Keyboard.
I Want to hear that of you :3
A little beautiful piece. Someone mentioned brief hesitations, I felt like these (if they are indeed not voluntary) actually gave a more alive feeling to the music. Some sort of cute and a bit naive feeling if you will.
If I may though, I'd say I felt like the ending was dragging on for a bit too long.
I hope you don't abandon the videogamecovers! :)
Casio CDP-120BK. :D
I enjoyed the tempo (did I use that correctly?) because of how quiet the song is. Its a very relaxing piece! :D
Jake this is beautiful, dude! Is there any way I could get sheet music from you?
So JamCompositions is no more? I think uploading everything on here is a better idea anyways ^.^ Good stuff.
This song reminds me of Scala's rendition of Radiohead's Creep.
I actually liked the hesitations, it mixed it up a little bit
Thanks! And yeah, the ending could've been shorter... I'll make sure that every song doesn't do that. xD
Only 1 minute? Please make it just a little longer like around 2 or 2:30, it sounds great
Hey Jake ??
Sounds like Pikmin...
