- Yesterday someone rightly asked why are we still talking about BSN because these new chalks and their crunchy soft texture rank way above BSN. I mean, yes I agree, these new textures are FAB! But does it mean we must forget about buttery soft BSN? I guess it depends on your taste. I can go with either and both will always have a special place in my heart.
Second point is I’ve been thinking about the purpose and power of names. There are many places in the Bible where names are changed to specifically match the purpose of that person. And in nature and life everything is named according to its purpose. Like a car is a driving apparatus to take one from A to B and fire is something hot that burns. So did we apply the definition to the name or is that what those words mean? Anyways more to the point, if in nature things represent what they are named, then what does it mean for our human names?
Should we be as we are named or should we name ourselves according to what we want to be? Whatever the case it means what we choose to name people is extremely important because it is either what you want them to be or what they are destined to be. Hmmmm. Thoughts?
Bottom line is I cannot name my future kid (s) some random name just because it sounds nice because there appears to be power in the names we give 😅💕

I totally agree with you in the names part. I had this thought myself as well. How one day someone called fire, fire and it just stuck. And now when I say fire there is zero need for explanation the other just knows it means something flaming or hot. People should think before they name their kinds or even pets. Because these names stick to them and also are a part of our memories as well ❤.

In Persian culture, the MEANING of the name is soooo important that we all know ours. Like my name is Sara and the meaning of Sara in Persian is “pure” and we all know it from our mothers’ wombs, 😅 so if you ask a three year old baby abouth the meaning of their name, he/she would immediately answer😅 and as parents if we want to name our babies, we would first search the meaning then the pleasing sound to it.because we believe the names could affect our Fate and lifestyle so we are soooo picky and serious with the name picking. Also, you could ONLY change your name officially if the meaning is something bad or ridiculous and for only that reason!!

I definitely agree with names and true certain names were changed in the Bible to reflect their characteristics. I was very specific when I named my son. I researched names before I gave him his first and middle name because I knew the power of a name.

You make great points on the naming...makes me remember of someone saying they were gonna name their kid "Rhysand" in regards to their fav novel....but someone mentioned the name means "bringer of darkness/dark lord" ...the name also means "enthusiasm" in Welsh...Im assuming that one name can have multiple meanings and it depends on what way someone looks at it...

I just woke up to a dream that i was pregnant and knowingly was having a miscarriage and was scared and sad about it.
I believe names are important because I believe in the power of words. If you call someone something negative everyday they will likely start to believe it. When we call someone by their name everyday we are declaring the meaning of that name on them. I named my 3 children with very specific names and I’m seeing it’s molding their personalities already.
