Helping black communities and decreasing crime is not anti-American, it's America's problem. Why when black men and women speak up to help their communities, it's considered hate speech?
You gotta respect that💯 percent. I hope that somebody takes that into consideration and hope some changes come from exactly what he saying they need to do. Lord knows the community needs it. Shit out to P for stepping up. 🦾👌🏾💯❤️
While I agree that funding programs and organizations that give young people constructive and productive activities to do is always a good idea, I don't think that people should be looking for the *government* to do that. I'm more in favor of what 2Pac promoted, which is doing for self and not waiting for others to do for me/us. I think black people need to stop asking *government* for more and more, it doesn't genuinely help black people, it simply makes/keeps them *dependant* on government. That said, the driving force behind gun violence is crime and the driving force behind crime is *laziness.* Most "experts" say that the driving force behind crime is poverty but I disagree because some of the most successful people were raised in poverty but never embraced criminality in order to escape it. The vast majority of criminals had legal opportunities to earn money but *chose* instead to engage in criminal activity because they can earn more in a shorter period of time than they can legally. Furthermore criminality has become pop culture, to the point we now have r&b singers claiming gang (Chris Brown is a self proclaimed Blood gang member) and convicted sex offenders still have groupies (Mystikal and R Kelly). Bottom line is that as long as criminality is pop culture, no amount of money will stop crime because crime will always be seen as the better choice between it and a legal job/profession.
How did European immigrant neighborhoods in the US turn the corner? Government help came in. The #1 motivation for crime is socioeconomic. The more opportunities a neighborhood has, the lower the crime rate. These circumstances were created by government, and have to be fixed by government. 🤷
It's a shame that politicians only go to rappers for representation of Black people.
