I purchased the rebel chopper because of price. $9.95, My neighbor purchased the original. $16 Both are almost same size and I can tell the difference just by the sound. The original whopper Plopper definitely makes more noise. I know you can’t compare apples to oranges, however my favorite chatter bait is the $16 jack hammer compared to there same brand, cheaper $7 bait. Color and trailer attachment and hook size is probably the only reason they cost so much. So far, my PB bass is 7.2 on a black rebel chopper. Great video 👍

I changed my hooks to single 2/0. Tired of tearing up fish to release. Safer for me too. I get better hookups with singles, surprisingly.
