That is why BTS was viewed as "country bumpkins," because they spoke in different dialects and were from all over South Korea. This has changed more now but back then that is how it was.

this song is DIFFERENT. It just hits ya know! Also, Suga of BTS is featured on Juice Wrld's new album on the song called "Girl of My Dreams." The song's really good!!! They also did another feature with Juice back in 2019, before he passed, on the song "All Night." I recommend checking that one out as well :)

I freaking love this song!! For a long time it was my favorite song to see them do live. It doesn’t have choreo but they would do it as their encore song at the end of the shows and just TURN UP! Like they would pour everything into as the last song and also as artists who toured a lot got to sing and rap about their hometown they just were so freaking passionate. Also the live is way more rock and this was when they toured with a live band. So both arrangement and just their voices are more rock and roll

you guys HAVE to react to whalien 52. it's from the same album and it deals with the thematic of one's alienation from society. the title itself refers to the disocvery of the whale whose sound frequency at 52hz makes it the loneliest in the world, therefore estranging it from ever communicating with its peers. it's one of my favorite bts songs to this day and through different projects you'll see that the whale is a sort of symbol for the bts army.

Any live performance you can find will do; I have not seen them perform this particular song with anything less than absolutely explosive energy. SO GOOD. This is one of my favorite BTS songs, and it's HARD to have a favorites list with their discography.

I appreciate that you guys are reacting to their "old" discography instead of the new releases. I love Boy with Luv, Butter, Dynamite and Permission to Dance, but personally I think that for get to know BTS well you have to dive deeper from 2014-2015 to now. Ma City is one of the masterpiece released in 2015 from the album The Most Beautiful Moment in Life pt.2.

OMG you finally saw Ma City!!! I'm glad you both had fun. This is the reason I can listen to BTS all day is because it's never boring and the genres and styles keep changing. I know copyright may be a problem but I highly suggest you watch the live versions of the songs you've been listening (even at your own time) to because BTS is better live!! Plus you may get a new version of the songs. Like Idol is an MV I don't watch too often BUT the live version convinced me I gotta go see them in concert at least once in my life. Yes, I’m having a marathon. I’m from Busan, same as JK and Jimin. I love Suga’s verse. Daegu is known for being a blue-collar city. Not much money, kind of “ghetto” industrial. He says he’s the most famous person from there and he’s not lying. He (and Tae) is the pride of Daegu. They showed that if you work hard and love what you do, you can do anything. They’ve uplifted the economy and the dreams of so many people. I’m getting cheesy and sappy, I know lol. I’m just so proud of them and love watching new people fall in love, too.
My go to live performance to get revved up and happy... the live version is very animated and fun.... and they have the band GHOST playing with them... a true rock show!!!! Shows their really fun side and camaraderie...
I think you've already noticed that BTS is a very unique group with different types of music, I'm Latin American and one of my favorites is Airplane pt.2, but I knew it was a person eclectic when I met them, so many different songs, and not just upbeat and energetic songs, but the sadder and calmer songs are my favourites, serendipity (Jimin's solo) is one of them, And heartbeat these songs have made me cry so much, I love it so much, and of course, as Jhope himself said "becoming an army is one of the best decisions of your life" yes, it's a fact.

Each of them sing about where they are from. Ilsan for RM, Gwangju for J-Hope, Busan is where Jimin AND JK come from, V & SUGA are from Daegu & Jin is from Gwacheon. This song is about repping your hometwon but we (they) are all Koreans!
BTS has a junior group called TXT (Tomorrow x Together) they have a rock vibe. Their songs 0x1= Lovesong, Loser=Lover, and their newest song Frost all have a rock vibe.
They say the slang for uncles and aunties that’s used in their hometowns. So like it looks weird in the translation but it’s just them being proud of where they are from.
I hope you keep checking out their b sides. The mark of a great musician is when the b sides are just as good (even better at times) than the title tracks. BTS definitely owns that.

Each of them sing about where they are from. Ilsan for RM, Gwangju for J-Hope, Busan is where Jimin AND JK come from, V & SUGA are from Daegu & Jin is from Gwacheon. This song is about repping your hometwon but we (they) are all Koreans!
