Breathing Room

Weitzman students and faculty partnered with Sayre High School in West Philadelphia to create The Breathing Room, an outdoor wellness space designed to foster health, community, and learning for the students. The space was unveiled this spring, and quickly became a cherished part of the school. The project was led by PennPraxis with support from Penn’s Netter Center for Community Partnerships, the Office of Social Equity and Community, the Perelman School of Medicine, and the Penn Center for Public Health.
