- Опубліковано 14 жов 2018
- In this step by step Illustrator CC 2018 tutorial we will teach you how to cut out an object within an image in Illustrator CC in order to remove it's background and export it as a PNG file with transparency ( Cut out an image with Illustrator ), for this Illustrator tutorial we will use the pen tool to cut out a portion of the image and put it on a different layer, the end result will be removing the object from the rest of the background ( It shows you how to remove the background in Illustrator AKA cutting out an object).

is there a way to automatically select and cut out an object without the pen tool?
like an odd yet different color shape that can be easily identified by ai, but takes too long to select by human
just to cut the time. please anyone help. I'm already too deep in youtube and couldn't find a way.
I love your tutorials. No fluff, no filler and its super clear. I also like the fact that you zoom in to the specific area of the software interface that you're clicking.

That’s what I’m saying! Hahha 🤦🏽♂️😅

Finally, a video tutorial that's easy to follow! After long hunting, I am so grateful to find this. Thank you!
You're welcome!
@@Tutorial4view yes most other tutorials assume prior knowldge, even if it is simple things like the step where we need to "select" all before making the clipping mask
@@stervenmealey1097 Yeah! I had no idea that I needed to move that colored dot to the layer! That was very helpful

exactly
I looked at so many videos and tutorials, even from Adobe themselves. This has been the only one that actually showed me how to do it in a way I could understand. Thank you!!

I have tried to learn how to do this numerous times and the videos I found were always so confusing I'd give up. This is perfect!! Thank you so much for sharing. I was able to follow along and immediately got the results I was after!

I have been struggling to figure out how to make this by my own but then I found your video it really a big help, only one try and I make it. Im crying thank you.

Finally a tutorial with zoomed details, so I can see what do I have to click on :) Thank you very much it was very helpful.
Such an awesome instructional video. Easy and concise. Thank you. More folks should make their videos this easy to understand.
You're welcome!
For those of you who want to cut the background with multiple paths, not just 1 path like in the video, just select all the paths, use pathfinder tool (or Shift + M) to remove small paths then they become 1 compound path. Then Clipping Mask -> Make like the video.
Thank you, so much for this. I’ve looked at other Adobe videos, and I could never get a accurate or even a straight forward way, to basically cut/copy a specific part of the image. With beginners, we know what we visually want, but don’t know the graphics vocabulary to ask the right question, which is very frustrating, when many you tubers largely take advantage of that. Your video just answered a question I have trying to figure out ( on Adobe, by myself) for over a month 😳. Thank you, again. Subscribed

Nothing in Illustrator is simple, this is literally one button in PS 😡
My god this is absurdly complicated compared to photoshop. I started trying to design a t shirt and about lost my sh*t trying to do anything in Illustrator. Never again will I use this program.
How you do on blle buttton only in PS?
Thank you so much! Really helpfull
However there are still residual boundaries of the original PNG or JPG image after applying your steps, the image is saved with a bigger artboard boundaries size ? how could you fit them to the already cut image ? Thanks
