My family moved to Tucson 2 and a half years ago. I hate it. The neighborhoods look the same. Its impossible to get into the doctor and they just push pills or dismiss you. I feel like we have gone back in time 15 years. The doctors don't have the latest treatment options or information. We live in Oro Valley and it is okay but not home. Summer is hell from mid May to mid October. If you want to get any exercise or do yardwork outside during these months you have to get up at 5 am when its "cool." We cannot get out soon enough. I'm happy that you like it here but ut isn't for everyone.
@@MovieJustin my husband was offered a job that was more relevant to his college degree than anywhere he had worked previously. He loves his job. There are trade offs no matter where you live. However my mental health tanks big time during the summer here. That has never happened before. My doctor says he sees this happen sometimes. I have to take breaks from the heat or I would go crazy.
Wow., and Oro Valley is like the nicest area of Tucson. Try living on the East-side. If Walmart was a city, Tucson would be it! Sh*Thole is an understatement !!!!!!!!!
By self experience, the best choice that you can make when looking for a realtor is Vanesa Paz. She works so hard making things happen and quick, we are so glad that we decided to have her on our side, such a hard working person. You will not regret it. Guaranteed.
Thank you for this useful information ❤ I was wondering how many hospitals are there in Tuscan because that is important to our family to move there . Thank you
Thanks for watching! There's a good handful of hospitals like in any other city, but my favorite has always been Tucson Medical Center. Banner Health is a great one as well!
For the sake of your poor children...DO NOT MOVE HERE WITH THEM!!! Chances are SUPER high that they will turn to drugs mostly out of boredom. Remember these words!
People don’t realize how expensive living in Florida is. Florida is not to far behind living in the NE or some parts of California when it comes to cost of living. The real estate market is insane in Fl. High HOA fees on top of high property taxes and homeowners insurance. The homeowners insurance market in Florida is on life support. Gas and sales taxes are expensive in Florida. Rents are sky high, good luck finding anything under $1500 a month. The weather is oppressive here from May and November. You guys might complain about the heat in AZ, but combine 90-100 degrees with 70-80 percent humidity. There is a risk of flooding just from normal rain. The hurricanes are becoming more deadly each year. The cost of each hurricane keeps growing and the residents eventually bear the economic burden of these storms. The salaries in this state are low. The urban sprawl combined with the excessive residential construction is making driving in Florida a damn nightmare. With all the new construction and the destruction of natural areas the state is more prone to flooding and heat waves.
Tucson has a WAY ABOVE AVERAGE amount of non insured drivers. Which causes a WAY ABOVE AVERAGE amount of hit and runs along with other drama. Make sure youve got under-insured and no-insured coverage.
Sahuarita isn't tucson. Sahuarita is nestled between the toxic metal mines and the dump. So when the wind blow, it blows all that nasty stuff over you.
I am interested in finding out how we can rent a house in Arizona. Preferably in the $1200 range for a 2 bedroom house that is pet friendly. We are a family of 5. We are thinking about moving there in 2 years or less.
Looking for help with moving with a housing choice voucher. I can’t find anyone who helps with this… everyone only wants to sell a home. Looking to rent first then Buy. Can you help me??
Let us know in the comments below what you love or hate about arizona and where did you move here from if you're not a native! 👇

Dont. Come for a visit before any final decision. You'll see.
You can always take a very relaxing walk around the U of A campus, lots of lush green grass and an arboretum.
That actually sounds pretty amazing, I know the U of A is a great spot!

Why do so many people that don't like heat move to the desert?

It’s cheaper to live in FL than AZ.. fuel is like 60 cents higher in AZ than FL.. AZ has state taxes Florida doesn’t… car insurance higher in AZ also
