Thanks for that video, mate. I've never seen moling myself being done, been too busy inside properties, keeping warm . Alan, are you preparing for a unvented cylinder going in or just crappie pressure?
Great machine. However, I am confused about how the rods start off pitched down at quite a large angle and end up levelling out somehow. What happens? Do they bend? Otherwise, they'd end up about 8 meters down.
Horizontal directional drilling (HDD) is a technique for installing underground pipes without digging trenches. It begins with drilling a pilot hole at an angle underground. Then, the hole is widened through pre-reaming. The precision comes from using guidance systems to control the drill's direction and depth accurately, allowing for a precisely placed, horizontal path for utilities. This minimizes surface disruption while ensuring accurate placement of pipes or cables.
is this your house Alan? That gas pipe didn't look like it was sleeved coming into the building! Your neighbours must be impressed with your christmas holiday activities. Happy new year to you buddy!
Love your content I see you as one of the people who put the serious side into the boiler installation of correctly fitted gas appliances. So please excuse me for this but shouldn't there be a covering over the flue termination as its under 2 metres or was that previous legislation or because it's condense the heat output is not as hot
C'mon pal flue under 2 meters not guarded and you let it slide..what is the procedure for this I'd like you to explain for the up and coming gas installers. I'm a humble commercial fitter but I like to see the domestic stuff
Interesting - thanks!
Some lads just have the best toys 👍
How did they get the mole to make a 90 degree right turn?
It’s not a mole, it’s directional drilling.

I was wondering the same

Hiya bud how much would this cost?

The gas coming into Sir Allen's house, wouldn't dare act out! 😅
it was a few years ago he had this done so not over Christmas!

This was a couple of years back was it not?
Yes, I have been editing a few videos
What happens to the power tank , if the new pressure effectively negates the need for it
very much overkill for a 25mm pipe grundomat mole would have done the same thing at a fraction of the cost.
