Lexie I first discovered you when you were a few months from finishing your amazing journey... I had always wanted to travel and since reading Cassie's book when it first came out decided I wanted to become the youngest person to travel to every country in the world. I was further inspired by you and your amazing journey. My plans were slightly stalling already but completely fell apart at the beginning of COVID, I am now about to turn 20 so don't have any hope of beating you! For a long time now I have struggled to watch your videos because all the things you are doing were things I was desperate to do as well, rather than through a computer screen. Recently though, I've finally come around to the fact that dreams and goals don't always take the form we wanted them too, I still plan to travel extensively, but over a longer period of time when it is more viable for me to do so. I now watch your videos and feel so inspired rather than deflated. Thank you for inspiring me so much and feeding this ambition, I really hope to be able to meet you in person one day. Hi from Portugal !! You really should visit Azores, is very very beautiful. Is a small Portuguese island in the middle of the Atlantic ocean with a lot of nature and great views. I only visited 3 countries in my life and Azores, it was a beautiful experience. It may be not the number one place to visit for a person who visited every country in the world, but still is an amazing place to visit.
Not only you inspire others but you also show that it's possible to travel the world as a solo female, which is something that many women are scared of.

This video is amazing!! I've only been to 10 countries, my big start into a travel journey was supposed to be all of 2020 and 2021 but of course that all got cancelled... I have the same scratch map and I can't wait to finally be able to scratch more! Lexie you seriously gotta check out more of Canada, there's so much here to explore and learn about, we have so many different cultures and landscapes, and going to the mountains in Alberta/BC is simply not enough!

You should take a roadtrip trough northern parts of Norway, Sweden and Finland. Breathtaking views and wilderness of the arctic nature. Totally worth it.

Seeing all the states in most of the bigger countries is something I hadn't seen before. Totally went and bought it lol. I would love to hear more about your island hopping in the South Pacific as a budget traveler. I'm super interested in going, but all I can really find is information on resorts, and while that is nice and looks super pretty, I'm not looking to stay in honeymoon-like places. Would love to see some of the budget sides of travel there.

Lexie you should consider living abroad in another country for a long period of time. Travelling does not really give you a realistic view of any country. Living there is the only way to deeply engage with the culture and even adopt part of the culture as you go.

Come to the other parts of Brazil next time! South, Southeast and Southwest (Curitiba, Florianópolis, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte, Brasília, Cuiabá, Goiânia, etc...). are a complete different experience compared to the North and Northeast our country. Everly little corner is amazing.

You need to check out more of Canada, out east to Ontario is beautiful. I highly recommend Quebec, it feels like Europe in certain parts.

Lexie you should consider living abroad in another country for a long period of time. Travelling does not really give you a realistic view of any country. Living there is the only way to deeply engage with the culture and even adopt part of the culture as you go.

Come to the other parts of Brazil next time! South, Southeast and Southwest (Curitiba, Florianópolis, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte, Brasília, Cuiabá, Goiânia, etc...). are a complete different experience compared to the North and Northeast our country. Everly little corner is amazing.

I feel like im kind of opposite of lexie. Ive travelled to over 40 US states and 9 Canadian provinces, but have never ventured outside of North America. I want to travel internationally so bad, can’t wait till covid os over so I can finally do the solo trip I’ve dreamed of for a long time.
