I think so too. I think if Eric keeps going he should do very well.

Dang, you have a pretty good collection of spare containers! ;-) I bet you could still stuff in a Mini-BIC and a birthday candle or two. Or maybe ditch the striker and razor knife and get a medium sized SAK in the box.

I have been going through your videos and thoroughly enjoying them. The small kits you review are very interesting to see where they compromise. Keep up the good work.

I think it all worked out great.. if you did want to add something else inside the tin.. you could always wind the Paracord around the outside of the tin and put a few more items inside ? All& all looks great

I mean, it's cool as heck when it's wrapped-up and all that stuff could certainly be helpful if needed - and would sure be better than *not* have anything. But, just seems like a strange combination of stuff that *almost* would help, but not quite.

The foil that it came wrapped in would go good in your hat to keep aliens from reading your mind.

Great video man! Maybe try throwing another fire element in there such as 3-5 storm matches and a small birthday candle in there. Keep up the great work

There's always room for cottonballs. And how about pencil, paper, matchbook, condom for a tourniquet, fresnel lens, button compass, tiny LED light, and maybe a real knife.

personally in my opinion, you need atleast 2-4 birthday candles and dozen or so of the small matches with striker. should round out the kit pretty decently. could even take or substitue 2 trick candles that way in windy condition it wont go out if you are trying to light a fire.

I've been working with paracord for over 10 years, and have made hundreds of bracelets, belts, lanyards, leashes, etc., but I've never had any desire to make something like this because it is so impractical. It looks good, and technically, it works. But once it's opened the contents have to be stored someplace, so why not just use a tin to start with, as you did.

I like the medical aspect and the emergency blanket. I would add a small signaling mirror and a button compass.

It'd be nice, if the carabiner they gave you was suitable for climbing.

Really want to see you strike the ferro-rod with one of the safety-pins - lol.
Don't be afraid to use the scalpel-blade, hold it at the spine and strike with the rear - those blades (as well as blades for a utility-knife) are stamped out of sheet metal and have fantastic sharp edges, good for striking and shaving wood too.
Very good idea to add some items when packing it all up again, but you should switch to a larger space blanket and instead of the razor and scalpel blades add a slim Victorinox with a blade and a saw, e.g. "Farmer Alox" - that would really improve the kit.

How do you use those little floats? I fish a lot and I have a similar fishing survival fishing kit that has those floats and I do not know how to attach them.
Is it possible they are strike indicators like for fly fishing?
    Thanks and
GOD Bless you and your families

It's missing waterproof matches. You loose the ferro rod and you are in deep cold. At least, the ferro rod should be on a string. Ditto for the blade. I think you should always carry a knife and a few matches with this kit. Remember 2 is 1, 1 is zero. Of course, your version, with the addons, makes a lot of sense. Perhaps, you should create your own survival kit and sell it online. I would buy one of your kits.
