One of the most underrated cars in India
A great car ruined by terrible after sales service
Underrated...ride & handling better than creta,but needs auto gearbox.
need power engine or turbo..replace new digital speedometer
It's actually a great vehicle! I have driven it and so I have come to know of it.
Captur and kicks are brilliant cars. But the sad thing is that it doesn't sell too much. While the creta and seltos are just fancy toys.
I was using 2018 Ford aspire till now and sold it up and enter to the world of SUV that the best Nissan kicks 1.5L petrol purchased 30th October 2020 one of the best performance based SUV good handling and power I feel more better then the others cars and comfortable too
Just like the captur . Kicks is a great awesome car.

It doesn't sell in bigger numbers is because of poor service network and after sales service of Nissan India. The customers in India don't have the trust which they have with Hyundai or Maruti Suzuki or even with Renault.
Its only because of Kwid & now Triber Sales nos because of affordable priced vehicles some trust on Renault has developed.
I had to buy Nissan Kicks XVP Modle and drive from 2 months to approximate 4000 km, ride quality is very smooth, If I drove 70-75 km speed on Noida Expressway, I get the 18-21 km average, and it just surprising to me. giving 8.5 out of 10, get the best dis with exchange offer from Noida Sec-3, Showroom. Totally Satisfied.
Hello bro I have confusing between Kia seltos or Nissan kicks in petrol
Dear Nissan,
1) Discontinue Diesel Variants.
2) Bring Top End Petrol Variant with both Manual & CVT Option.
3) Reduce prices of all Kicks Variants by a Lakh.
4) Do some aggressive Marketing.
Price cut would really help
First two are coming ...
With more powerful turbocharged petrol engine..
5) Invest on service network if you have plans to stay in India for long.
Now it has been launched with 1.3 l turbocharged engine...
Nissan shouldn't give up with this backlash, must keep providing better products. Kicks is a top-notch machine compared to its peers. Should keep up the competition. There's a clear change in the mindset of Indians towards safety and quality. Hopefully, the time will come for Nissan soon. Building Healthy customer relationship & working on feedbacks is quintessential.

Just a year ago the diesel costs just 68 to 69 rs/lt...and now..!!
Sometimes people think resale of car and serviceability across country... These are the factors Nissan cars are not selling in huge volume like Maruti or Hyundai... Otherwise this is the best intelligent SUV....
Its not with the resale. Its with the overall quality! Nissan sucks at it.

Yes, i am drive enthusiast. I love my nissan xv pre diesel. Yes its better than creta, for indian roads. If people will only go for jo dikta hai wo bikta hai, good car like etios , kicks will fail. Its definately good. If people will buy than only parts will be made in large quantity.
I think maybe don't use that petrol pump so much. Unless an international manufacturer gets its fuel rating totally wrong I guess it far more likely that the fuel pump is has a faulty reading.
Problem is not witj the car but with the brand itself. Sales and service network.

How can you compare with Duster , Nissan kicks built on the platform of Renault Capture ; like previously done with Terrano & Duster .

As you can its number plate doesn't have white background, these cars are offered to renowned media houses and journalists by the manufacturers to get their feedback and these cars are returned to manufacturers after the purpose is over.

Buying renault or nissan for metro cities people is good choice but for small town not advisable surely after sale service will b problem wat say public
How would a company expand when people do not appreciate gud product. And how often you need to get it serviced . Parts are easily available on boodmo. Get it serviced at a near by nfg

Go for it without hesitation... It's the best car in the segment... Even seltos doesn't have safety features and handling like this... Seltos is better in terms of cosmetic looks... I already own one and have run it for over 3000 kms... Don't buy in case resale is your priority otherwise this is the best car
Unfortunately no good review is going to revive the fortunes of Kicks and Nissan in India. My guess is Nissan ( and a few other international brands like VW, Skoda etc.. ) will be a history in India sooner or later unless they make some super exciting launches !

Hexa has it. Far better spending 20 lakh on mahindra shit. Hexa not just drives better but has great dynamics considering its sheer size.
Kicks got rejected for brand Nissan, over pricing, no Auto transmission, no Sunroof, no auto dimming rear view mirror, no cruise control, poor efficiency & Resale value of brand Nissan, etc... features liked by all Indians.
Nice car but may be due to resale value and all all competitor like Creta, it slows down.

Blame it on Nissan for the kicks low selling numbers .They launched their last product in 2013 and now the kicks in 2019 ..people tend to forget that there was a brand called Nissan.
zero service - pathetic dealerships with a well known brand.. nissan has hit its own toe here in India.. Could have been a success, but now the negativity has overtaken the positives.. it will be great to see if the brand revives itslf - seems to be difficult though..

No doubt it has a good ride & handling quality but it has few Cons as well.
European Ergonomics of various controls are in reverse position like wipers, headlamps, also the clutch is slightly harder with longer travel & springy action.
Brand Nissan is big overseas but with Indian Portfolio, Sales no, service network they are poor. Diesal Efficiency also is below expectations when compared with competition. Also starved it from Auto transmission, sunroof, electrically adjusted driver seat, etc features liked by Indians.
Considering all the they should have priced it correctly at the launch.
Nissan's KICKS made a mistake of over pricing with limited warranty hence got rejected all over in India.
It was missed opportunity by Nissan India. To regain from all the above Nissan have started offering discounts, 5 years warranty, etc.. But its too late. It's not going to be ease to bring back customers inspite of all offerings. Once rejected you are rejected forever in India.
The cheap plastic bits inside the cabin for a price tag of 12 lakhs feels really annoying. The laggy underpowered petrol variant is a foolish gesture from Nissan. Styling is ok otherwise.
