play the Philippines, they start in a really unique position as they have a low literacy and small population, but they do start civilized tho, which is HUGE. Personally, I'd say that they start in a very poor position, but they have a lot of potential, especially since they start with HM's government.
Try playing Indonesia conquering the Netherlands, if Indonesia would play too similarly to the Philippines then I also suggest you play Georgia (Caucasus Georgia) and get your hands on the two other Georgia's
Unfortunately, you can't release Indonesia in Victoria 2 vanilla :/. That's one reason I picked the Philippines because I got comments suggesting Indonesia. To be fair, Indonesia would probably be too powerful if that was possible lmao
Maybe Atjeh might be a nicer alternative to play. Taking over Johore and Brunei (and Bali) and then westernize, conquer some of Asia and go after the Dutch.
@@enochinri You can release java, I believe? and like a colonial version with all of the dutch cultures as accepted and the highest pop of the released nation as the primary. You could then conquest the dutch lands and have them as accepted.
Since Victoria 3 came out I discovered how good and fun Victoria 2 is, your channel was recommended to me by the YT algorithm in the process of discovering Vic 2 and I'm happy that happened. How about an Italy Mediterranean focused campaign next? To pull up the Garibaldi red shirts and unify the peninsula coming from minor nation to super power is tons of fun. I also saw you play CK2 and I must say you play it very well which it's not a thing that it can be said for most of the now dead CK2 content creators, I get there's CK3 nowadays but CK2 deserves all the love in the world, that game is brilliant. Keep up the good work and get well soon!
I like mods because of the flavor and how it fixed colonialism. In Vanilla your country Africa is straight up empity and you can't do some historical stuff like taking Egypt (huge)
In base, if Austria never gets obliterated and have a ton of their land occupied, they will not have the internal militancy or issues that force them to become a dual monarchy
I've never seen austria become austria hungary once and they've gotten stomped in some of the games I've played ussualy the loss for them is bohemia though
"We got the nobel peace prize, yeah really working hard for piece." Well you're working about as hard for peace as Adolf hitler, josef stalin, Barack Obama and many other nominees for the nobel peace prize.
Play Babylon (You need to start as Iraq). Its quite hard and requires not only good understanding of the in-game mechanics and how to manipulate them, but also some very good luck. Iraq is a surprisingly strong nation when you release it, but your economy will go to shit at like mid-game--1910s if you dont have access to important RGOs. Its an aggressive, cunning, and scuffed playthrough but its loads of fun and worth it for the humorous map.
@@enochinri I think you could but I didn’t get a lot. Maybe I didn’t do it properly. Later the communists took over and repelled all the political reforms :(
Skill, luck, expert timing, and HM's government letting me have a jingoist party in charge when I am justifying lmao. Jingoism speeds up your rate of justification, this determines your infamy. To give an example, if you are giving a justification for conquest that costs 22 infamy, and halfway through your justification you get caught, then it'll be 11 infamy. Jingoism gives you a 30% modifier to CB generation speed, couple that with a few good events, and it is actually pretty easy to get cheap war goals. Pro-military gives you a 20% modifier, but pro-military and anti-war also give you negative modifiers to cassus belli generation. Also, releasing nations, like in order to get all that land from Russia in this game I had to release a bunch of my colonies... Worth it tho

Agreed, more CK2 content would be based and crusader pilled
Thank you for playing Vanilla. I dont play with mods and having someone play like me is refreshing.
I never played with mods. I don't know what the deal was with vanilla being bad, I don't see anything wrong with it.

This is a powerful comment
As one of the very few Philippines players in Vic 3 this is hilarious.
WELL NO ONE NEVER TRY LIBERIA BEFORE

*Time traveler moves one stone*
Phillippines: I feel a lot stronger now
Oh man that central Europe is gorgeous. SGF with no AH
crazy to think that I've played Vicky for literally 10 years and never realised encirclement is a thing
bruhhh
you missing out on wiping stacks up to millions haha
Do a video as Somalia, a German Minor (without turning into germany!), Estonia/Baltic states or Finland.
Awesome video 👍
what resolution do you run the game in? the well known problem of vic2's UI for ants doesn't seem to be affecting you, did you find a solution?
I’ve never seen that issue? 720 and 1080 both look fine on any windows computer I’ve had
I have windowed mode 1920x1080, and never really had an issue with the UI, I have an ultrawide monitor but I don't record with it
@@tacoman736 it is a problem in multimonitor setups like mine
Wtf I also have covid. Why did you personally get me sick mr inri :(
The Philippines DESTROYS Asia
Philippines: Time to do the Torriel de Carabao's Ube pie warcrime
I said this once before but please play dod its super fun imo
awesome stuff!
Just one thing:
if possible always colonize Fiji. Fiji is a very small country can you make the independent saving you 5 infamy, huge.
When I was a kid I legit thought the demonym for this nation was Philippean.
Which sounds more like a spanish king going to the bathroom.
this shit about to be based
Are you going to make any videos on Vicky 3?
Is this really Vanilla Vicky 2? God, I totally dislike that. Still great video
Can you play with Paraguay?
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Wait you can play as a satailíte from the start
I forgot. What mod did you use in this server?
Yesterday I played Cuba in vanilla vic2. Let me tell you that Cuba is a lot weaker compared to Philippines
Yeah some people want me to play Haiti I don't know how I'd even begin like that... You can probably get immigrants at least, right?
@@enochinri I think you could but I didn’t get a lot. Maybe I didn’t do it properly. Later the communists took over and repelled all the political reforms :(
